My boss is after an 15/18 month balance transfer leaflet if anyone has one spare would you be able to get in touch please. There doesn't seem to be any in the magazines etc around where I live.
  • Hi there,

does anyone still have any of these 15/18 month 0% leaflets available? we generously had one posted to us from a Musey about 6 weeks back, so we sent it off then got a reply back this week saying "it had been damaged in the post, please call them to sort this out". We called them this morning and they refuse (even though we have a photocopy of the form) to accept our application for a 15 month @ 0% - instead saying the best they could offer over the phone was 9 months.

I'd be very grateful if anyone that has a spare leaflet would get in touch - musovamp@hotmail.com (I don't mind leaving this address here as it's for all my unsolicited mail) I can always come back and delete this email address when I hear from someone.

    ta very muchly :o)

Daft Ada (no you are not daft!) - I will be sending you an email.

All - I HAVE JUST BEEN REFUSED BY CAP1!!!! Outright too! They have probably cottoned on to my serial credit card tarting activities when they checked my credit reports - I have access to my Experian report as I am signed up to CreditExpert.

    Oh crumbs ....

I got an 18 month card but was disappointed with my credit limit. Although they say they won't review your limit for 6 months, I wrote them a letter explaining why I think I am a good credit risk, and asking them to reconsider. Just got my first statement, showing my credit limit has doubled!

This is despite having 5 credit cards already, with about £40k owed at 0%. So, lswwong, some serious stoozing doesn't seem to put them off, although I am only just reaching the end of the 0% period on my first stoozes, so my credit record does not yet show cards being paid off and closed when the 0% ends.

    Hey Koru!

Alas, my Experian report has all green lights and a number of paid off cards spanning over a good number of years ....

I'd suggest anyone going for this and all others cards to simply to send the application form in another envelope and via recorded delivery (63p more?) to prevent lost or damamged in post issues. Plus it prevents prying eyes seeing your details too.

I sent my app off not too long ago, and it got approved and the card received within around 10 days pronto with bal trans in effect and a letter confirming they had been actioned.

Looks like they have caught up with the backlog reported previously.

Be aware, the closing date for applications is in August.

    Hope that helps, Lopo

sent off a postal application on tuesday for the 18monther, asking for BT's @8k to egg and 6k to Virgin. fingers crossed.... :)

Did they agree to the amounts you requested? I've got an application for the 18 month offer that expires on 1st August, which will tie in nicely with my Egg anniversary offer and MBNA introductory offer coming to an end. Both total £10K, which is what I will be asking as a Balance Transfer.

This is a fantastic offer! Earlier in this thread Martin mentioned a direct link for this offer, but either the offer has finished or I am blind because I've been looking for it for 20 mins now and can't find it anywhere....Please help!!

Can anyone throw some light on this? I'd be grateful for the link if it exists!

    Cheers!;)

Yes, I'm afraid it has. I believe the link was removed around the end of March.

    Boohoo!!

Thanks for letting me know anyway, at least I know I don't need to keep searching now. Shame I missed out on this one! Never mind! ;)
