 A lovely good afternoon everyone!!!!:D
Gosh you've all being very busy bees doing lots of little things and getting big results!!!:T
Since Friday I have done nothing but laugh, chill and just be!! My younger brother came over as a surprise visit friday evening and when he is around it's madness:D. We spent the evening and all day saturday, eating, listening to 70s Jazz, funk and soul, our era of music is just fab!! We chatted about my 50 birtdhay:eek: next jan and he is going to burn a cd of all my favs!!! one job sorted!!:D It's definately gonna be a 70s revival night. It seems like a long way off, but my how times flys by:D. We had such a laugh, remembering the things we did and music is the bond I and my 4 brothers shared big time. Just great. DD had a great time as ususal, throughly spoilt by him and she loves our kind of music too which is great. So all in all it made a change from leaving the net alone for a least a day:eek: but definately worth it and to appreciate the other fun things that make us smile!!:D
So thats my date one and all. Have a brill afternoon and stay positive and keep smiling.:T

Hi everyone
Have had a good weekend MSE wise. Dad called round this morning and said he was really really sorry but he had forgotten about the £30 he owed me (I did some Christmas shopping for him ages ago). I had forgotten too so I am £30 up!! Feel like I have won the lottery.
Took my boys swimming this afternoon - great way to pass a rainy afternoon and worth the £3.40 cost. Someone was ill in the pool after 45 minutes so they had to get out and we have got a voucher for a free swim, will use that at half term.
Posted some stuff on Ebay yesterday and have got 2 bids already.
Off to experiment with a new recipe for tea, hoping to stretch the chicken breast fillets I have taken out of the freezer to make 2 meals.
Oh and why did someone mention washing the car. The roads around us are a nightmare and I HATE doing it. I only washed it last Thursday and it is filthy already so thats a job for tomorrow.0 -
Hi everyone
Not really a lot to add this weekend but still felt like popping in to say hello
Just back from a weekend at my friend's with the girls. Great weekend and didn't spend too much - food and wine mainly, a bright little top that will brighten up my wardrobe and OH's bday pressie. Sorted.
Thinking about some other small things:- £2 coin in the jelly tots tube
- Read mag - subscription with club card points
- Quick hokey cokey on 30???
- Catch up with TV
- Bit of knitting
- Candles lit to cosy the place up a wee bit
- Check banking and cc
- Didn't buy coffee at the station

BTW, I am working with a one-in-one-out policy (1 bed flat...) so this also means that one top currently in the wardrobe will be heading for the charity shop or e bay0 -
hello all
I is a little bit sore - I think I have over excersised this weekend. Did nowt yesterday as I couldnt be bothered frankly. Felt the need for sweets at lunch time so sent dd out to shop (dont keep evil stuff like that in house LOL) She bought to much and i ate the lot then had the cheek to go out at tea time and get a fish supper! WTH...my diet appears to have gone out the window.- Use bike I currently pay £50 a month for!!!!!! (Cyclescheme through work so I get tax relief etc but still) Cycled the longest I have ever done (about 3 miles) having to jump off twice for a couple of wee hills.
- went to free work gym for an hour work out
- used free showers at office and their radiators to dry towels
- bus into town to other office to use computer and charge ipod and mobile (left phone in work all weekend!)
- email details to CAB re DAS. They needed some further account details
I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend.DFW 228 LONG H 68
