Morning all!
Its a monsoon in Manchester! Everywhere close to where I live is starting to flood - not near a river luckily but the drains can't cope with the volume of water - not good. Jumped in the car to get some milk to find a puddle in the passenger footwell - newish car (18 months old) and its leaking! Grrr!
So the rain will mean mostly staying home today apart from a trip to the supermarket if I can summon the courage to go back out in the deluge.:o
Other stuff to do....- Clean house from top to bottom
- 2 loads of washing
- Write 7 lessons for next week (last week of term then a week off, INSET on Friday too!)
- Watch rugby on telly later
- Phone mum
- Have checked bank - am poor! Roll on payday in a month
- Checked surveys - need £1.50 to be able to claim next Amazon voucher and will be able to pay for sisters birthday present for free!:j
- Maybe have a tidy of a wardrobe - bursting at the seams
- Stay in tonight
- Do the shopping armed with a list and meal plan - need to keep it to the bare minimum, am skint!
Have a good day!0 -

Morning everyone. Flew back in from Germany last night. Coming into land was like being on a roller coaster. Not pleasant at all. Was only a propeller plane which seemed to make it even worse somehow. About half of the plane applauded when we managed to touch down.
Not posted for a week while I,ve been away, and I've missed keeping up to date with everyones activities. I know some of you were arranging or attending funerals. I hope everything went as well as these things can.
This morning has just been a case of unpacking, doing laundry and writing shopping lists. The fridge looks like old Mother Hubbard's cupboard at the moment, and I've got two loads of washing on the line hoping that the wind will dry them before the rain comes, or they blow away.
Today I will
- Check online banking, and hopefully be able to make a payment towards a credit card bill.
- Do my big shop at Aldi then go to Sainsburys only for the things I can't get or don't like at aldi
- not smoke (Day 40)
- update my "pay a debt in 100 days" challenge
- more laundry and lots of ironing
- bring as much as I can from the garden indoors to prevent wind damage.
- use the shampoo and soap, and coffee and sugar, that I brought back from the hotel in GermanyDebt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -
