    Morning all!
Its a monsoon in Manchester! Everywhere close to where I live is starting to flood - not near a river luckily but the drains can't cope with the volume of water - not good. Jumped in the car to get some milk to find a puddle in the passenger footwell - newish car (18 months old) and its leaking! Grrr!

So the rain will mean mostly staying home today apart from a trip to the supermarket if I can summon the courage to go back out in the deluge.:o

    Other stuff to do....
    • Clean house from top to bottom
    • 2 loads of washing
    • Write 7 lessons for next week (last week of term then a week off, INSET on Friday too!)
    • Watch rugby on telly later
    • Phone mum
    • Have checked bank - am poor! Roll on payday in a month
    • Checked surveys - need £1.50 to be able to claim next Amazon voucher and will be able to pay for sisters birthday present for free!:j
    • Maybe have a tidy of a wardrobe - bursting at the seams
    • Stay in tonight
    • Do the shopping armed with a list and meal plan - need to keep it to the bare minimum, am skint!
    That's it for now.
    Have a good day!

Morning everyone. Flew back in from Germany last night. Coming into land was like being on a roller coaster. Not pleasant at all. Was only a propeller plane which seemed to make it even worse somehow. About half of the plane applauded when we managed to touch down.

Not posted for a week while I,ve been away, and I've missed keeping up to date with everyones activities. I know some of you were arranging or attending funerals. I hope everything went as well as these things can.

This morning has just been a case of unpacking, doing laundry and writing shopping lists. The fridge looks like old Mother Hubbard's cupboard at the moment, and I've got two loads of washing on the line hoping that the wind will dry them before the rain comes, or they blow away.

    Today I will

    - Check online banking, and hopefully be able to make a payment towards a credit card bill.
    - Do my big shop at Aldi then go to Sainsburys only for the things I can't get or don't like at aldi
    - not smoke (Day 40)
    - update my "pay a debt in 100 days" challenge
    - more laundry and lots of ironing
    - bring as much as I can from the garden indoors to prevent wind damage.
    - use the shampoo and soap, and coffee and sugar, that I brought back from the hotel in Germany
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done

  • Morning everyone:)
Aaaaah I was so relieved when I woke this morning and realised it was Saturday:T So had a lie in til half 9...am still in my dressing gown drinking coffee...oh the laziness!
Not doing much today - girls and I were going into town for a coffee and wander round, but dd2 has had a better offer...out to meet friends so we're staying home. Suits me, going to get another assignment started - only a short one so reckon I could do a fair bit of it today;)

Hope you all have great days wherever you are:D

    Here's my list:
    • check banking
    • check onepoll - only 40p to go til I hit the magic £40:T
    • hoover whole house
    • clean bathroom
    • meal from plan tonight - curry for girls, sweet and sour meal for me
    • taken chicken out of freezer
    • drink water and eat fruit
    • heating now off
    • washing in quickwash then on airer
    • write up new, updated list of direct debits and income for next month...have got a bit lax with this:o
    • do a very small bit of grocery shopping for next week - not much at all, have very full cupboards/fridge/freezer
    • tidy garden - rubbish/recycling blown about everywhere:eek:
    • start assignment!
    Ok, that's my lot:)
I really need to sort out a new signature!
  • Morning all - Anyone missed me?

I've had a pig of a week. Been busy or out every night this week plus work is really pressured. So I can really identify with you DNMS. :grouphug: It's been so bad that my gentleman friend and I went to the cinema on Wednesday (Orange Wednesday) to watch little Fockers and I fell asleep!!! :(
    Morning all!

[*]Write 7 lessons for next week (last week of term then a week off, INSET on Friday too!)

    Have a good day!

Lucky you, I've got 2 weeks to go and no inset in sight. :(:wall:

    Today I have
    • Checked banking, looks like I can get through the month providing I'm careful
    • Surveys none
    • Done a huge pile of paperwork including scanning for car insurance renewal and finally sorting out the transfer of my old pension into teacher's pension. It's only taken me 6 years
    • Written a shopping list

    Later I will
    • Go shopping
    • Clean flat apart from hoovering and kitchen floors, I'll do those tomorrow
    • Have a sleep
    • Write the assignment for my year 12 BTEC class
    • Update the CEIAG policy that I've written as the head wants me to big myself up more

When I'm tired I overeat, no idea how I can get past that one, too tired to sort it out. Where's the toast?

Hope everyone who needs a hug gets one. Virtual ones available here :grouphug:
