  • Morning All :) Sorry to those having grim weeks, I can sympathise, my weeks been busy too, so much so I can't even remember if I have posted on here this week :rotfl:

    Anyway. list for weekend:

Spend as little as possible, just need a card for Nans Birthday, or may make her one if I have time
Washing on low, dry on airer inside so as not to blow away outside
Tea from plan, lunch from left overs
lots of cuddles with DD as she's still not feeling great
    Keep house tidy
Keep an eye on surveys and ebay
put last of loaf in freezer with previous leftovers. see if there is enough to make breadcrumbs en masse, if not leave till next weekend.

Think that's about all, have a great weekend everyone :j

    Hi de hi!

I had a bit of a wobble today and bought some cakes and a pie from the local market where I sell a few things every saturday, hopefully my stuff will sell and make up for it! Also bought some cookie cutters which I've been wanting for ages which I feel a bit guilty about (but I guess that's a good thing, a couple of months ago I wouldn't have thought twice about it!). Still, I'll get a lot of use out of them even if I didn't technically need them (Martin's money mantra fail for me a bit there...)

Anyway, back to being good after my little flutter, I've got nice market pie for tea and will have to play with the cookie cutters to make some packed lunch biscuits for next week. :T

My to do list for the weekend is...
    - [STRIKE]check bank[/STRIKE] (still broker than broke, less than no money as usual  but if I'm careful I've got just enough for bills and food until I'm paid again and should have a little left over to chip away at the ODs)
    - hoovering
    - [STRIKE]load of laundry[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]see OH's parents this evening for MILs birthday[/STRIKE] _party_
    - clean kitchen (this list is getting more and more rock and roll!)
    - [STRIKE]go to work tomorrow[/STRIKE] (charged my phone while I was there, might as well make the most of it!)
    - [STRIKE]gym after work tomorrow[/STRIKE] making the most of the membership!
    - [STRIKE]help friends with decorating in return for a meal![/STRIKE] postponed until next weekend
    - [STRIKE]tidy the house[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]stick to meal plan[/STRIKE]
    - do some cross stitch (very cute sampler for a friend's baby, due soon, best get stitching!)

Have a good one guys!

Jumped in the car to get some milk to find a puddle in the passenger footwell - newish car (18 months old) and its leaking! Grrr!

Rachel have a look if you've got a drain blocked on the paasenger side front under the bonnett. Cos of the weather being so blowy we're seeing a lot of water leaks cos of crap filling up the water drains and runways. Worth a look! :-)
Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!

Hope everything checks out OK, was really bad here last night too - ended up putting car into garage (doesn't happen often as REALLY tight squeeze to get it in). Opened door & loads of stuff lying around which I just chucked into car lol.

Really sorry to hear that Pernicious, hugs from the lily house.

Housework done (-1 washing), cat food bought, dog walked (now snoring his head off in his bed). Popped to Mr C as realised I didn't have anything for lunches next week and ended up getting a load of cat food but it was on offer so seemed silly not to buy and then have to buy it at full price next week.

    Have a good afternoon everyone.

Morning all - Anyone missed me?

I've had a pig of a week. Been busy or out every night this week plus work is really pressured. So I can really identify with you DNMS. :grouphug: It's been so bad that my gentleman friend and I went to the cinema on Wednesday (Orange Wednesday) to watch little Fockers and I fell asleep!!! :(

    Virtual ones available here :grouphug:

that gave me my first proper laugh of the day! :rotfl: thank you!

35 minute run at the gym and some weights and the pressurised feeling behind my eyes (which I have had for a whole week) has almost gone! I think some wine, a film and some time with oh (;)) should get rid of it for good! (oh reminded me we are going to a comedy night on Monday - and although the tickets are complimentary the drinks won't be! - and Morocco on Wednesday!!! :j)

Work was good I got quite a lot done - came across 3 email deadlines that I missed....

Sorry its like that for you too Moneyp really hope you have some wine and ur oh to ease the stress :kisses2: the over eating when stressed thing is really difficult - you either go one way or the other I think...

Hi everyone - sorry haven't been on the thread for ages but have some news I just have to share. :) I just paid off the last £60 left lurking on a credit card and am now officially free of all my Credit Card debt. :j

I'm not officially debt free as I still have my student loans to pay back, but while I'm only working part time I'm not worrying about them at the moment.

Thanks so much for all the support and tips this small things thread has given me over the last couple of years, L xx
