Finally met my old workmates for what was supposed to be a pre Christmas lunch-kept getting put off due to ilness and weather,so enjoyed that.DS2 came with me to choose a new phone on Thursday,he was off work with sciatica and had an appt with an osteopath after, who said he had a twisted pelvis, and did some stuff on it.He's still taking painkillers though.
My new phone has a touch screen, but i think i must have fat fingers or something :(.DS2s GF was texting me while I was doing the shop in Sainsbugs and it took me ages to reply.I've trimmed my nails, but its not much better

DS1 was 31 yesterday,I made a Victoria sponge which was yummy.A neighbour got me a load of eggs from a farm near her mums as a thankyou for something I did for her,so used 4 to make a nice big one.I was going to get a little smartie cake in a box as a joke till I saw the price-nearly £8:eek:
Jackie - sorry youve not been well, hope you pick up soon.

It's scary outside, my car felt like it was going to get blown over on the coast road . I only popped 2 mins down road to Lidl for some fruit n veg, and to post a card.

I've had a thoroughly lazy day :D much needed though. I went back to bed with my book and the radio on this morning then I watched some Murder She Wrote and read my book with a cuppa this afternoon :) I made a big pasta bake for lunch - lunch today and 2 extra portions for tomorrow or freezer.

I'm fancying some roast spuds for dinner, but can't decide what to have with them. May make stuffed peppers. I should really just make them tomorrow but I want them tonight :p

    Have a good evening all
