Morning all!
BB, thanks, am much calmer, a wee glass of wine helped! Usually we get on great, I think shes just a tad stressed out, FIL has dementia and is in a nursing home, and hasnt been too good recently, but she never talks about how she's feeling, so the childish huffs and snapping are the sign, but I can't be bothered with it at the mo!
Better get organised, need to sort out the freezer to see if any party food can fit in, and go do my great aunt's shopping, usually do it on sunday if I am off, but being taken out for posh lunch tomorrow!!!RIP Iain

Morning all:j:j
My wife shall be doing some washing and the tumble dryer will be on yet again most of the weekend. Why do they cost so much to run:mad:
Our meater allways has a fit when ours is on.
my tumble dryer broke last year and we cant afford to replace it , I have managed by drying outside and using airers and radiators when the weather has been bad. it has saved loads on the leccy bill
probably not a viable solution for you with babies though x
well the house looks presentable except i am about to drape washing all over  and i havent made my bed 'cos the ickle puddy cat is curled up in the middle and i havent the heart to chuck her off

Welcome to Marmite, Essex girl sorry to hear about your uncle, Poppy dog happy birthday, hope you get some sleep soon Loulou, I hope you enjoy your day at home Rosie.
Hubby has finished building the greenhouse, it is only a small plastic one, silly me, I thought it was for the garden, but no, it's been put in the back bedroom, with a heated propagator in it. I'm now awaiting a visit from the drug squad, who will see the 'hot spot' & think we are growing cannabis! The neighbours will soon start calling us Tom & Barbara.
Hugs Hester

Morning all! I hope noones dog, roof or OH got blown away in the wind last night! I woke up at three and it was awful, the windows in the hall were rattling like mad! Not sure what I'm gonna do today, i'm getting a bit bored of lying in bed so might put the WM on and make something sugary and generally unhealthy for breakfast- american pancakes anyone? :T
I've been looking at the price lists for LCBT and the beauty school at my uni and I am so tempted by the £20 facial, £10 manicure and cheap waxing!Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Good morning everyone ( just about - I haven't just gotten up I swear!! Lol)
Been really tired at work this week, so enjoying a lazy morning in front of the tv at the moment, had my porridge and coffee, and watching the house rabbit run around the living room like a mad thing!!
Need to get motivated soon and go to morrisons to get some bits and bobs and then home and then off to lidl to get the basics, as they are much cheaper there.
Should take up a big portion of the afternoon as I don't drive so have to wall everywhere, but I actually enjoy the walking with my mp3 player with me.
Over the weekend I will be cooking, beef and ale stew in the slow cooker, sweet potato and chorizo soup out jamie's cook book and the lamb donner meat out of the Takeaway Secret book, none of which I have ever cooked before so it could be porridge to eat all week for me if it doesn't work out!!
I'm healthy eating today though to compensate for the slight pig-out I had last night while watching tv!!
Have a great day everyone, and I hope all that are feeling under the weather are healthy again soon.0 -
Morning all!
Welcome Marmite potato...... hope your wee dog better soon.
NPM, glad you had a better week, hope you manage to figure out some food your ds will eat!
Hugs to all who need or want them.
Strange day for us here. Usually if dh is off at the weekend, he wil be out and about, go out with the kids, or I do while he is watching footie.
Today....... we are Muslims, live in Luton......need I say more?
We knew this was coming so having a 'fun' stay at home day. Making cous cous with some beef for lunch, HM fried chicken and chips for tea.
Gonna bake with the kids and probably manage a few games of 'Uno'. best buy I think I ever made. 10p at the car boot, we all love playing it and get so competitive. The first person to win 3 games gets something from the others. Eg, I normally give DD1 £2 a week for cleaning her room, but if she wins I do the room and she still gets her £2. It's great craic!
Have a good day all whatever you do.
Hi,
Whats going on in luton? Iv had a look at the bbc news site and there is nothing on there about luton. Id it something to do with the EDL?
Sorry that you can not go out today. thats very wrong. Everyone has the right to belive what they like. But when people start getting hurt or a afraid of getting hurt or bringing troube to there door then thats out of order and should be stopped.:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -

Afternoon all,
Happy birthday Poppydog...am off in a minute for lunch with my DD3 who is 31 to-day.
Welcome Marmite...you reminded me what I need to put on my shopping list, have Vegemite but am not Australian so don't appreciate it!
Windy and cold here, have changed bedding and its in wm at present, won't hang it out as it might be found on N7, causing an accident! No dinner to cook to-night, we will have chicken sandwiches from yesterday's dinner.
Essex girl....sorry to hear about your uncle.
NPM....glad you have both had a good week at home.
JackieG...good to see you posting, hope your problem is sorted soon.
Back later....time for the pollyfilla!
