Hi,
Back from the school run, needed to pop into B&Q for bark for the chicken run, 100 litres for £5.98 so not bad, need to go and sort them out but weather horrid. Should be a LSD but me & DH popping out tonight, will only be a bar meal and will go halves. Need to also give upstairs a sort out, DS bedroom a tip.05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

Can't help on the 0% thing I'm afraid. You'd need to phone them up and ask and if the answers no ask them to abort your application in the hopes that they say well actually in your case we can make an exception. YOu'd also need to check the small print v. carefully as you can't always balance transfer to a current account to clear an overdraft, nor can you usually transfer catalogue debts.
Hope you enjoy your meal out.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
The 0 % CC has arrived, it allows me to shift my existing CC balance to 0 % :j that is a huge relief, i cannot however do balance transfers to a current account but what i have done is pay the Next directory with my OD as the interest rate is higher on Next than my OD. Just hope this plan works, as my OD is now aprox £1,200 and i am trying to pay it off by £100 a week.
Have had a LSD as worked last night so spent the day asleep, needed a few groceries so only spent £12.58, am finding dealing with cash so helpful, have even hidden my Debit Card to the back of my purse- how daft, hiding my own card in my own purse, in a place where i know where it is05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

That's not so strange at all, I've heard of people putting their cards in the freezer so they have to defrost them before they can be used! If you're determined to work with an amount of cash each week (and I think that's a brilliant idea) why not leave it at home then you can't be tempted in the shops. Or ask your lovely aunty to keep it for you then you can't buy on the internet either;)

Sorry diary,
Have had alot of cr*p going on in my life over the past week or so, not sure how to sort it but am trying and therefore have neglected my diary and some of my spendthrift ways have been lost.
Will try hard to get myself on track, but do feel pretty sorry for myself, hence the Saturday night diary writingat almost 11pm, gone are the days i was out drinking & dancing my worries away... there again that would involve MONEY!!!!05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

I paid off the outstanding Next Directory account & Freemans by using my overdraft, have also had to spend some too, DS needed new shoes, DD1 a new coat and it all adds up. My OD is now aprox £1,400:eek: but the upside is, i have all this debt in one place and my plan is to pay off £100 a month.
Have paid aunty £450 off the loan she gave me and that has been set up by a direct debit as i never want to miss a payment, it has been so good of her to come to my rescue.
Doing an extra shift this week so intend to use that to chip at the OD too. My £2 &20p jar is looking rather attractive too!!05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

I really have lost my way with the debt busting, whilst i am putting aside money each week to clear my OD and saving £2 coins & 20p coins and each Friday i put £10 into my sealed jar, i am cotinuing to use my debit card and that means using my OD.
Today i went to the M&S sale and bought a jacket for £39.99 because it was reduced from £69.99, i will wear the jacket but know in my heart that i do not really need it and cannot afford it.
I am being ridiculous, putting money by and then using my debit card (i hid the card in my purse a few weeks ago) The first few weeks i tried to clear my debts i was using cash only, but now i have completely fell off the wagon. Am annoyed with myself as getting nowhere at the moment.:mad:05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

Hi mummychicken.
Dont worry - the important thing is you climb back on. Can you take the jacket back? Can you buy DD and DS stuff online and go through a cashback website so that you at least get some cashback?0
