    10 more sleeps til my scan - sooo can't wait - Deb that's a brill picture! :D

Thanks for whoever mentioned the soft sleep bra's from mothercare - they have saved my udders! :rotfl:

My cousin phoned me yesterday talking about his wedding on 28th August - then he asked if there were any babies on the way yet (as we only got married last summer) - I had to deny it but I'll be 8 months exactly on the day of his wedding - I think I'll tell him to spot the whale, lol. OH keeps ribbing me that he'll buy me a marquee in the end of summer sale...to wear! :rotfl:

OH heard me be sick for the first time this morning - gladly though it beat me to breakfast so there was sod all in my stomach. At least he knows I'm not making it up though. Feel so much better for it sometimes - I'm actually eating fruit today for the first time in weeks :D

The sun is shining, I'm feeling happy & confident & all is well with the world. I looked at the forecast for next weekend to see if we'd make it to the seaside...but we're forecast snow for Saturday & Sunday  :rotfl: Typical!

Have a good day everyone! Have a great scan FG - drink loads!

    Hi everyone. :)

So, so sorry to hear your sad news skintchick. Look after yourself x

Good luck on your scan today FG.

I can't see your scan picture Debs- I don't know why!

Congrats on your good news to everyone new!

I am getting quite excited/ nervous about my scan on Wednesday (I will be 8 weeks exactly), particularly about telling DS.

I am feeling pretty sick now. Poor OH spent 3 hours cooking a lovely meal on Saturday and I could barely touch it...he was very understanding! It is doubly annoying that nobody knows as I can't get any sympathy from anyone at work!

    Roll on Wednesday...

Lovely scan pick! I went into Felix's box this morning and looked at the 12 week of him. *sigh* I miss him.

Got an appointment with my GP at 4pm. Apparently I have to go and see him, then get him to refer me back to the consultant. Ridiculous NHS systems! I am hoping they will offer me an early scan - save me paying for one. I would like to think I am entitled to one given the circumstances. I hope he doesnt suggest I get in touch with the midwife - that woman should not be allowed to practice.

Had a chat with my mother last night, about me wanting an early scan, and her response was "Why would you want to do that, it would be a waste of money. It might show its alive one day but it may not be the next"........Yeah thanks mum. After seeing what i went through I had hoped she would be a little more supportive this time....Erugh.

Can I ask people's opinions on using Felix again (but as a middle name) if this baby is a boy? I can think of reasons to and reasons not to.

me personally i woulnd't. i wouldn't use any family members names who has passed. but then that is just me. i know alot who do. you have to do what feels right to you and your hubby and at the time of the birth.

hugs tho, sometimes mums can be a bit to outspoken at times . i guess ur mum didn't mean ti in a horrible way more of a matter of fact. but sometimes matter of fact isn't what is needed.

i probably wouldn't use the same name again in your situation as i feel that felix is his own person and his name should remain just his name iyswim.

i am going to keep the same names i already thought of for the baby i miscarried for this babay as i never thought of the baby i was carrying last time as having a name.
