Yeah she did but didn't say anything. She said she's been trying to count the weeks to see when I'd announce it to her. She so excited bless her, you wouldn't think she had two of her own :rotfl:

Still no reply from midwife about my scan date. I'm not sure
Well I'd better go and wrap my Mum's birthday present, as we're going around there for dinner tonight to celebrate, as it's today.

Hugs for all who need or want them, and postman come quickly vibes for all waiting for scan dates. Sorry to hear about the mess-up at your hospital mishka - hope they manage to sort it out quickly for you. I would also consider putting in a complaint after you were promised an earlier scan too, as the stress this has put you under can't have been good for you.

Thanks, I think im going slightly bonkers with it all :( Im grieving more and more rather than enjoying it all :(

I know our chances of the same happening again are 1% but no-one could tell me if we had increased risk of something similar happening, which was supposed to be the whole point of getting an earlier scan !

still at least we have emsbet's good news, gives us all hope :o

Hope you enjoy your mums birthday sexymouse !

Baby was moving around nicely and they have moved me forward to 13 weeks exactly. :)

My EDD is now 11th September which is 4 days after my mum's wedding so that should be interesting ;)

Thank you all for the support, you've been amazing :)

Hurrah! I dont have much time to hang out on the PG thread as LO is keeping me uber busy, but i'll try and stick my head round the door. Feel free to poke your head round the newborn-1 year thread door to see what you are letting yourself in for as we all moan and compare poo/sleep/teeth stories!

We had to go buy formula today that cost £17.50 for a half can, as the NHS are flaming useless. Then once we'd bought it the HV hits out with "oh we could have given you that on script" even though we'd been asking for a week. Going to pediatrician on Thursday though :)

If you have a receipt, you might be able to claim it back again with your exemption certificate. Worth a try.
