Don't worry I won't be. Just the pool and two treatments. I'm going to give them a call on Thursday to find out which ones are suitable. I'm hoping I can have something more than a manicure and pedicure.
xx
think a massage is fine which a carrier oil and reflexology as well - but they will let you know. i am also planning a spa day away with friends in feb, its a pity to miss out on all the sauna etc but its worth it

Sorry Fishcake, that made me laugh so much. I throw up when the dog throws up...I always have done. Fortunately since she's grown up I don't have to worry about it so much.
I'm terrified I'll get morning sickness. I'm a crier. Whenever I'm sick I burst into tears...no idea why. Also working in a school where the toilets are on a very busy corridor I'm a tad concerned that hiding it will be an impossibility. Twinklie you might be lucky and not get sickness. Last time I got a lot of nausea but never actually threw up.

Evening ladies
Thanks for your posts. It wasn't meant to be this time but at least we know we're ready to be parents
Saw my fabulous doctor yesterday and have been given advice and encouragement from her (have had a few lady issues in past year and she's been so in helping me overcome them). She seemed so excited herself that it's something hubby and me want to go for.
I'll pop by now and then into the thread. I know you may not be in here when I return but I wish you all luck and happiness with your little onesLittle man arrived 13 Dec 20120 -
mlbarrett, I'm glad you're getting plenty of support and encouragement from those around you, it helps so much. If you're thinking about 'seriously' trying to conceive, I would recommend picking the brains of the the helpful, knowledgeable and generally lovely ladies on the TTC thread, who know everything about everything and are very supportive.
I'm feeling much better today than I was yesterday, but I almost threw up on the bus this morning. Eugh. I hate buses, they're currently giving me a headache and making me feel very queasy.0 -
Morning all,
I feel complete pants this morning. Im having a duvet day on the sofa, eating biscuits and intend to move as little as possible. I am so completely wiped, like the day after you've been really ill and your all washed out and floppy.
Fingers crossed DD is feeling nice today and doesnt play up. I've whacked Cbeebies on the tv for her, so she is quite happy watching telly with her monkey at the moment.

I called the doctor straight away this morning but they already had no more appointments today and have been told to try again in the morning.
Congratulations, emski!
The only reason you see the GP is for them to arrange for your maternity exemption certificate (free prescriptions/dental care up until the baby's one) and to refer you to the midwife. They don't do anything else - not even test to see if you're pregnant. Pregnancy's not an illness and your GP won't be that interested (unless you're also unwell, e.g. feeling depressed, uncontrollable morning sickness, etc.).
Nor will you see the midwife before 8 weeks (or so). TBH, you could just relax, take some more tests, enjoy the results and leave the appt for a few weeks."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Hi everyone, I've been quiet on here (but reading regularly!) as I didn't want to jinx things. I'm now 9 weeks and 2 days and I have my first MW appointment tomorrow. My 12 week scan has also been booked for 27th Jan. Am so excited about that, really want them to say everything's okay!
I've been really nauseous for the last 2 and a half weeks now but only from the afternoons onwards. It means I can eat breakfast, lunch and snack during the day, but I really don't want any dinner! I've been doing my best but have lost 5lbs altogether! I've started throwing up in the afternoons at work so I had to come out with and tell everyone (we're only a small company). They were all really pleased for me which was nice.
My leggings and jeans are too tight and my bras are uncomfortable but I don't want to buy anything until I've had my 12 week scan! The house is a !!!!!! tip as my OH has been decorating and hasn't had the time to do the cleaning and I just don't have the energy to do it! I've only done 2 washes since Boxing Day and my linen basket is actually tearing at the sides!!!
Hope everyone's doing well and is coping with their housework better than me!!0 -
