Get yourself some 4head for your headache Lisa. I've suffered with headaches almost everyday since we conceived and it's helped quite a lot. There's only been some days it hasn't worked and that's been if I've let it take hold too much before using it.

I want a cuppa but the last one made me feel sick! I can't go off tea, I don't drink anything else!! (Decaf now though!)

I think they are ok to take as long as you don't take them too often bit you might want to check that out.

I was told I could take paracetamol, and I even read the leaflet that comes with and it doesn't mention anything about pregnancy :) hth

So pleased it's the weekend, thinking of you Emsbet, I've taken a half day today for the same reasons, a little more discharge this morning and it's impossible to take my mind of worrying at work, plus my colleagues had my head battered and I couldn't tell them why! I'm hoping for a relaxed weekend, keeping an eye on things and not doing too much of anything

Thanks Amymo. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
I haven't had anymore since this morning (touch wood) so I feel more relaxed now which can only be a good thing.

I've been and had my appointment to register with my new docs and while I was there they me me an appointment with the midwife for booking in :-) It's not till the 15th when I'll be nearly 8 weeks but its nice to know I have one now!

Oh and i had to take a urine sample.......so an HPT accidently got dipped into it lol! It was a VERY definate positive instantly before the control line had even appeared!! Puts my mine at rest to get a positive that is also much stronger than my original ones. I was nearly as happy and excited as when I got my original BFP! Still can't believe it really!!!

I'll be almost 10 weeks when I have mine next Friday so 8 weeks isn't that late.

It's great when the positives come up so quickly isn't it? I think that's one reason I took so many ;)

  • Hope you are doing ok emsbet, good choice to stay off work I think :)

Got my scan in 1 week today!! Think I might have a little bump now too, although it could just be crisps and cheese!!

My skin is dreadful atm, sooo spotty :( all for a good cause though. I have just spent an hour and a half sorting through my spare room, threw out a load of junk which we just dont need. There is still loads left though, not sure how I will part with it all before the room becomes a nursery!!

Hope you are all ok, have a great wkend, and emsbet, hope all is ok. x

Had lunch with my BF today. Haven't seen her for 5 weeks due to summer holidays. She guessed our news within 20 minutes of arriving lol. I am still (just) in pre pregnancy clothes but I think your belly takes on quite an unmistakeable shape, even when just bloated. It was nice though to be able to tell someone as we haven't gone public with the news yet.
