I picked one up from my doctors surgery but you can get them from boots and sainsburys too. I'll rpobably join them all too, I'll need all the money off coupons :rotfl:
My tummy is hurting still. Has felt like AF pains for the last few daysI have actually lost a bit of weight too, gone from 8.6 on saturday to 8.3 yesterday. I havent had any sickness so I guess its the beanie using up all the calories I eat.
Will go on a hunt for one over the weekend me thinksSealed Pot Challenge Member #8810 -
Icey I'm loving the name you have for your beanie. DH has decided to call ours Sir Alex (he's a Man U fan!) which has kinda stuck now!
We wanted something quite silly - so silly we wouldn't use it once he/she arrives. My Mum and MIL/FIL have picked up on it and refer to beanie as Elvis too which is rather sweet. They're all so excited and I think quietly been desperate for grandchild/ren.
I haven't put any weight on but my waist has got "thicker" IYKWIM? My jeans are now definitely uncomfortably tight  /
Did anyone watch the Horizon programme last night? I found it very techie and a little on the dull side but stayed with it. Interesting stuff - DH now expects me, as he delicately put it, to "poo a 9lb watermelon" !!!:eek::eek:Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -
Morning !
Thought i would let you all know that I received my sea bands yesterday, for anyone considering them - I personally havent noticed any difference, except my wrists hurt ! My nausea is still as strong which has annoyed me as Ive wasted my pennies AND feel rank
On the upside I have my first midwife appt tomorrow which Im very excited at, I hope she will listen for the heartbeat - anyone had that done at this stage ?Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -
Will have to look for the bounty packs! I joined Mothercare because they apparantly send you quite a few vouchers!
I still get AF pains now - it's just your uterus stretching ready for beanie to grow.
xx
Ah ha, that explains it then! I am sooo worried about every little thing, even (dont laugh) dislodging it when I sneeze!!! Crazy I know0 -
Ok, i'm worrying again... I haven't had any af type pains for a couple of weeks now
...
I wouldn't worry not everyone is the same. You might not have noticed them. I've noticed every little niggle/cramp/pulling sensation but I think that I'm more alert after last time.:j:j I like the idea of pregnancy buddies... whats your due date Emsbet? We wanted something quite silly - so silly we wouldn't use it once he/she arrives. I don't know if when I get on the scales I will have put on any weight but I am definitely sruggling to be comfortable with my clothes.
I saw the first half of the Horizon programme then fell asleep - which is pretty standard for me especially at the moment!

I was like that, worried every little thing might make beanie come loose.

Yeah, [STRIKE]I've[/STRIKE] we've told a few people - DH and I are useless at keeping secrets and it's going to be sad if it doesn't work out either way, so I'm not sure that people knowing will make it any worse.
My mum and sister know (told them at the weekend), a girl at work, and two of my closest friends. I'm going to try and keep a lid on it for now though - I think that's enough people!0 -

I made it to about 40 minutes in and had to go to bed, DH was already asleep. I'll watch the rest sometime this week.Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -

We told the parentals at 8 weeks, mostly cos it was convienent that they were all in the same place at one time so we didn't have the niggly "they knew before I did" whinge.
I've told a couple of friends mainly because I'm crap at telling fibs and/or they'd guessed anyway.
The funniest one was my sister (at 6 weeks) - I had sent a photo to DH phone of the CB digital pregnancy test that said the "Pregnant 1-2 weeks". He was showing her photos of our new kitchen on the phone and suddenly there was a "Eeeekkkkk" from her and an "Ummmm" from him and I asked what was going on. My sister sat there saying "I didn't see anything, honest".
So we told her, she then ran around the room shouting "I'm going to be an aunty" and waving her armsshe was pleased.
