Got my first midwife appt on Weds afternoon, looking fwd to it, mkes this whole pregnancy thing a bit more real!

I still havent seen my midwife my appointment isnt until next wednesday when I will be 9+5 - I'm starting to think that the receptionist got that wrong ! As you say, the appointments always make it feel a little more real, I have no concerns though so there is no point worrying about it.

Mishka, our midwife likes to see you about 8 - 9 weeks anyway so i think that is pretty normal.

Have a good day and hope the sickness isn't too bad. I am feeling good apart from the tiredness. Off to splashland in southport today with the little un and my sister.

mssas - Glad you popped back in. You've been on my mind over the last few days. Hugs to you and your OH.....

emsbet - good luck for your scan. I'm sure everything will be great. There wasn't much to see in my 8 week scan but it was good to know that we could see something and that the beanie didn't get stuck "en-route"

goppers - I've not had much in the way of symptoms. No sickness, but has a nausea most days for a while from about 6-9 week maybe. Actually, I lied, I've had very tender nipples and still quite tender even now. That's supposed to stop in the next week or two

Just got back from the hospital where we saw our little beanie with a heartbeat! :j:j
Its such a relief! The midwife says that if there is a heartbeat at this stage then there's about 85%+ chance that everything will be ok!

Fabulous news!!!

Soooo looking forward to having my scan 2 weeks tomorrow, just want to know that everything is OK.
