Thanks for the well wishes, still feeling rubbish today but other half gets home today for a week so at least I'll have someone to spoil me and cook some decent food for the kids. My poor teenage daughter literally scraped me off the floor and put me to bed after I threw my dinner up and was so exhausted I just wanted to stay there, bless her. Made it to work today despite her wanting me to stay home, everyone is so suspicious, probably because I'm the colour of a paper tissue and about as strong as one lol.

Hope eveyone's scans go ok, can't wait till mine it seems like ages away. Enjoy eating all those of you who can, I wish I could face a KFC all this talk is making me both jealous and sick at the same time.
Still I'm half a stone down in about a week so maybe there is a plus side to all the sickness, well there would be if I wasn't so bloated everything wasn't tight haha.

Thought I'd better add myself to the list! Seems were due date buddies Twig! - Obviously this can all change at the dating scan!

I really feel for all of you with sickness. Keep your chins up and hopefully you will feel the 'bloom' of pregnancy soon!

I'm struggling the other way though. As I have no sickness I keep thinking I can lift heavy(ish) things! And I'm really stubborn so I don't like asking for help or saying I can't do it!

Hope everyone has a good weekend - I'm off to Silverstone tomorrow to watch the Grand Prix practice!

Hi everyone,

Hope your all well hugs to those that the sickness has still got hold of

I have some stemetil tablets for mine and they are working great been sick once in the past week compared to the 10x daily I was before taking them would highly recommend them cyclazine didn't work for me they gave me that first !

We are 10w + 4days today and things arent great had some really bad pains over the past few days went up to A&E who say I may be having m/c there is no blood yet though so thats reassuring for now, am in agony and have been since wed night they have offered me another scan but as they already know its not ectopic they are happy to wait and see and will not scan any earlier than Monday !!

I am devastated to think I might be loosing this baby I am already so attached and I am scared about the scan because if they confirm my baby has gone I am gonna fall apart I have lost one before my first ever pregnancy resulted in a stillbirth at 31wks not quite the same as this but that sense of loss is hanging around.

OH is being very supportive and really positive and I feel guilty because I am thinking the worst and worrying and trying not to coz I don't want the baby to feel it all. I have also tried to get a private scan and hoped this could be done earlier but next thursday was the earliest so we have no choice now but to wait.

I wish I could just pick myself up but I am so scared of loosing this baby

Hi Ladies,

I haven't been on here for a few days, had lots going on at home to deal with. I've read back and read every bodies news, some sad and some happy. I'm sending my thoughts and love to those who need it.

Pregnancy really is full of ups and downs. I feel worn out at the moment, living on ready brek and chicken soup!

I have decided to book a private scan this week and I've got my appointment tomorrow afternoon! Very excited and nervous at the same time! I will be 8+2 tomorrow and I'm wondering if they will have to do an internal scan or not? Can't say I like the sound of them! I'm only very slim as I've read this can effect the results and I will ensure I have a full bladder!

Janine, I'm going for my scan today and I do not want an internal scan. Apparently it's really uncomfortable.

.. :grouphug::grouphug: Fingers crossed for you that bean is ok. Wish I could speed up the wait as I know it must be hard for you. I have had mc before and so understand your worry but try and keep positive and you know that we are on here if you want to chat.

Re internal scan I had one in 2005 when I had pcos diagnosed and it was ok (as far as I am concerned more comfortable than a smear) but obviously all are different perhaps the equipment might look a little less rude than it did back then !!:rotfl::rotfl:Perhaps people say uncomfortable due to length of time scanning when looking for bean as they do hold it up there to get better contact :eek:

A private scan has just become available at a clinic about an hour from me with baby bond.

Tomorrow at 11.50am my nearest clinic has nothing until next week as I say but this one an hour away has one tomorrow am waiting to hear from OH if he can get time off work and will book it am thinking I may ask either my mum or my MIL to come if he can't get time off don't wanna go on my own but really wanna go I know there isn't much in between tomorrow and Monday but I don't know how much more of this not knowing I can take the pain has been pretty bad today but still no bleed I am hoping all of that is positive for us and little one is ok.

I think yesterday I made my dad cry I went to see him and we talked about it and I just burst into tears he hugged me and once I'd stopped sobbing he went into the bathroom for a little cry himself.

I just don't think I can make it to Monday the not knowing is driving me crazy.

Am I mad to want to go and pay this money (100) when I'd be getting one anyway on Monday or would you guys do the same ?
