I've just had the same argument!! We both working, and I do all washing etc. But instead of putting clothes in laundry basket, they going on the floor in the bathroom and floor in the bedroom!!I have to pick them all up. So had it out, and now all sorted thank-goodness.
I do try but I get called a nag  I do feel bad though, on his day off yesterday he stood and ironed for a good few hours while I lay in bed and had a napI just don't understand how difficult it is to put your dishes in the dish washer rather than the sink?!?

I'm really struggling tonight. Despite the tablets I've still been sick, I feel terrible just tired, weepy and cold.
I feel like I've neglected the kids this week as I can't stand cooking so they've had crap dinners and a mum who just wants to sleep.

I was wondering if I could possibly join, I have lurked on the ttc board but never posted.
We have been trying for about 4 months and I am now 3 days late, I have taken 3 tests and they all show a very faint positive line...I'm still not sure but OH has googled and it seems that a lot of people get a faint.
Anyway....if I am counting it as a postive, please please dont judge me, but I'm not as happy as I thought I would be? I'm actually really really scared!!! I have wanted a baby for absolutely ages, my sister has two and I adore them and I couldnt wait till I had my own. But now that it is becoming real, Im stupidly frightened ..... did anyone else feel like that??!
I suppose we are quite young, 23 and 24, but we have been together for 5 years, we bought our own house 18 months ago and we both have fairly good jobs.
I'm worrying about money mainly whilst I would be on mat leave and then paying for childcare when I return. We did our sums before we started trying and we can get by, just. I dont know whats the matter with me but I feel ever so funny about it all....very nervous!
Please reply to me ladies....hopefully telling me I'm normal?
Of course the faint line may not be a positive, in which case just boot me off this board and I'll go back to lurking
xx
Ours was a very faint line that took ages to show at first. I did lots of googling and it would seem a line is a line is a line (it doesn't need to look like the control). Tests like first response react to smaller amounts of hormone so perhaps try that (with your first wee of the day) but it is most likely it is a positive test.
I also didn't feel ecstatic when we got the positive I had waited so long for - it is a very scary prospect being a mum and I think the feeling is quite common!0 -
We used a clear blue digi test and it's so clear
would recommend them to anyone, but they aren't cheap.

ThanksI was worried I was being really strange not jumping for joy!
I had a twin pack of tests so I will use the remaining one with the first wee 2moz. Think I may buy a digital one if the line is still very faint.Little Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Ooh I got told 23rd of January, that is exiting
What time is your scan? I have to wait til 4pm, I think I will burst waiting!
Mine's at 10am! I'm sooo glad I got an early one, I would be the same as you if I'd got to wait until 4pm!
Off to bed now so hopefully will get a good night's sleep ready for the morning. I'm so paranoid about being late as I've never had to go to the hospital here so am not 100% sure where I'm going, but my OH says he knows where the hospital is (and have got a sat nav too!) so we'll find it. Am just leaving myself plenty of time.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -

Morning All! :j
Good luck to those with scans today (and hopefully wont take 3 hours  cant believe how different things are between areas and theres me moaning about an hour!!!)
KFC cravings were obviously in the air yesterday as without knowing what you lot had been up to (:D) I had made myself a fake fillet burger even finely slicing the lettuce and faffing with the mayo to try and make it authentic :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Am desperate for a chicken wrap today so going to study the takeaway secret book see if something suitable and have a go. Will do the usual open all windows, open side door, put on fan and shut kitchen door as still dont like smell of cooking!! but hopefully it will be worth it!
Gilly I confess that you can take your angst out on me re kitchen mess etc as I am  just like your oh and not clearing my mess up, I have no excuse as am home but the sink makes me feel sick and we have no dishwasherbut its ok your post made me feel a bit guilty so I did try and 'tidy' the sitting room up so all is not lost
Its probably the hormones making you feel a bit crosser than normal, my hubby is working, ironing, helping round house so I know I owe him big time.
Floatylight hope you have a better day today and trust me the kids probably loved eating rubbish so dont stress take care x
At the moment I feel like someone is going to arrest me for the criminal amount of food I am wasting, I buy it then carefully watch in the fridge as it passes its useby as I cant eat it/dont fancy it. Bread is a nightmare I say get me this bread, oh gets it then dont even open it!! or it tastes funny but am now on sainsburys fresh sandwich loaf which is fine (well for today anyway :rotfl:) as is nice toasted but starting to think that it is the preservatives etc in normal bread which I dont like oh bought me that evil longlife stuff and I practically spat it out
By the way am diluting my apple juice and have bought fizzy water so thanks for tips
right enough rambling!!

Hey everyone,
So I had my first scan yesterday, turns out I'm 12 + 1 which is roughly what I guessed but another 4 days added to the due date so it's now 18th Jan 2012It's only the one baby which is a relief, I got so paranoid about it being twins so I'm glad I can relax now :j
The wee one looks healthy & was dancing about like mad. I never thought I would be able to see so much but I could make out all the little fingers & it made me want to hug the bubba right that moment. As soon as I saw little bean on the screen I had a feeling it was a boy, but going by the twins feeling I'm not gonna believe it yet until I find out at the 20 week scan
Ms still a pain in the bum, I don't remember feeling normal now, it's dragging in & I can't wait to start enjoying the pregnancy more. Good luck for everyone having scans, it really is an amazing experience
