I cannot believe how detailed it was and I'm really pleased with the photo. My OH is busy scanning and uploading as I type so hopefully I can post it very soon!
Sonographer said I'm 12+1 so dates haven't changed. Due 19th Oct.Loonytoons wrote: »Evening allHad my scan today, i'm 12+5 and due 15th October. I'm so happy, will try and upload a piccy later x
Oooh congratulations both of you, an important milestone
WFP he/she looks amazing! Your scan is so clear, bet you can't stop looking at it!
It feels like forever until I'll be 12 weeks!0 -
Thanks WW! It feels like forever since I got my BFP at less than 4wks but I promise you the time does move and it's well worth the wait. Congrats for your BFP - I still lurk on TTC thread so I know you've been trying for a while xx0

I'm like a Cheshire cat .... well half the time ... the rest of the time I'm like a rabbit caught in the car headlights :shocked:0 -
waitingforpost, what a beautiful picture, bless you must be chuffed with it.
Hi wonder womble, hugest congratulations!!!! I was exactly like a rabbit in the headlights for the first few days then it started to sink in!
I'm not too good with what you should and shouldn't do I'm afraid am a newbie myself, but I'm sure someone will be along shortly with a better idea.
oh your list of cant eats are right along with soft/blue cheese and liver/pate and shellfish and non lion stamp eggs.
I've told some of my family and OH but we are telling his family on monday when he's home but people at work etc although they suspect will have to wait another month or so before I broadcast it!
Keep smiling about it hun, tis the best thing in the world.0 -

We're a day apart! I'm due 14th Oct!!
Have you got a bump yet? A lady at work asked me on Tuesday 'are you sure there's only 1 in there?' yes there was only 1 at my scan 'oh well you're much bigger than a 12 week bump'. Cheers love!!0 -
Wonder_Womble wrote: »1) How long did it take before you finally started to believe you really were pg? :j
When I was presented with a baby
2) When did you go to the Doctors to let them know?
I didn't. Here you get the number from the gp surgery for the midwife and ring for an appointment
3) What foods do you need to avoid? I googled it but there wasn't as much to avoid as I thought, some fish/shellfish, home made mayo, and unwashed fruit and veg was all I got.
That's about it.. veiny and soft cheese, pate, eggs with red lion can be eaten dippy
4) When should you stop wearing underwired bras?
When you want to.. I wore my normal bras until theey were far too smal and replaced with nursing bras
5) Have you told anyone, other than your OH?
I told OH a week before the 12 week scan.. I told the lady that does my nails and since the scan I told my mother and my 2 oldest children. We're a day apart! I'm due 14th Oct!!
