Toooldforthis - so sorry to hear about the brown discharge, it's so worrying for you. I really really hope all is ok, glad you managed to get a scan booked for today, if you can just rest until the scan - thinking of you xx
  • Thanks mrsj28 ... I'm really scared at the mo ... Laying on the sofa trying to think positive .... I was really poorly with the miscarriage blood transfusions and all sorts so it was a bit of a trama both mental ( which takes longer to heal) and physically ...
I'm just hoping little blimp is all on in there and it's just old blood etc

It may well just be some old blood, but I can totally understand your worry (I had a miscarriage in September and the bleeding really panicked me when it started, and I know I'd feel just as panicked again).

Trying to think positive and staying rested is all you can do at the moment, so sorry you are going through all this worry though, and really really hope all is ok. Is there anybody with you? Can your OH come home from work or is there a friend you could call?

TOFT - fingers crossed hope all turns out well. I started having brown spotting at 8/9 weeks and its only let up in the last week (13w3d now). I was really stressed when it first happened but touch wood everythings been fine apart from that..

Try not to stress about it as thats the last thing you need now!

Oh no TOFT - I hope that it is ok, a bit of bleeding can be normal. Glad that you have your scan so quickly.

Sending lots of positive thoughts your way.

Fingers very firmly crossed for you, Toooldforthis. I had bleeding with my DS, so it can happen and isn't always bad news. As Mrsj said, brown sounds like old blood. It's very hard not to freak out when you see it though. Big hugs and I hope all is well at your scan.

Wasn't teaandcupcakesplease having a scan last week? I don't think she's been on since. Hope everything's OK there too.

That's rubbish about your appointments, lovecake. The NHS is good to have, but they can be bloomin' annoying sometimes.

TOFT - Fingers crossed it is just normal bleeding that can occur - a friend of mine had this at about 8 weeks or so and turned out it was nothing to worry about. She's now about 20ish weeks and no other problems so I hope this will be the same for you. Sending positive vibes to you for your scan!! Xx
