  • aquamarine so sorry - have taken you off x

Bigbird - have changed yr date x

Doctor has given me a months tablets for my hyperemesis and more sachets to keep me hydrated (which take the whole day to get one down me..) so fingers crossed I wont be seeing the hospital again!!

If someone asks for the list to be adjusted and I don't reply straight away, it's because I have been admitted back to hospital,so please be patient and I will do it asap :)

Afternoon all! How is everyone doing today?

Im still cramping though not as much as the last couple of days – still trying to get into the doctors though! Actually, I noticed a couple of you guys were able to let your doctor know over the phone so will give that a whirl (and it will save me having to tell the nosy sods at work I have a docs appointment!)

Hugs for those who need them!x

Good luck with that. Mine was phoning the doctors, the receptionist asked what was wrong so she could direct me to the right person, I said I was pregnant, she said 'Oh, that's the doctors then', appointment made for docs, doc took one look at me, asked when LMP was, asked which hospital (out of 2) I wanted, and said it's midwife led, we'll send in your referral. What a waste of time....

So sorry to hear your news Aquamarine :(

Doctor's surgery's seem to be a bit hit and miss. Mine have been great this time around. But the last time I was pregnant I was told I had to see a doctor and got a right grumpy old git who told me I had no choice but to have the baby in hospital because I was old! Proceeded to work my due date out wrong and then told me to make an appointment with the midwife.

Bleeding seems to have eased off a bit, but it did that yesterday morning and then came back with a vengeance. I've been trying to work out if I feel pregnant, and the answer is no - my boobs feel no different to normal, apart from feeling a bit tingly now and then. I don't feel sick or nauseous. I was feeling a bit windy, but that seems to have eased off today, which might be a bad sign :( I've a couple of spare pregnancy tests and tempted to do one to see if the line is fainter, but in a way I think I'd rather not know and just leave it to the EPU next week. Plus If it turns out that I'm back on the TTC wagon in a few weeks, I'll be needing those tests :o

  • Aquamarine, sorry to hear your news.
New Cook - I'm afraid mine was an appointment to tell me estimated due date based on and a printed handout on what to avoid and what to take. Then to book in with MW. Could have been done over the phone, but GP needed appointment.

Was told to also make sure I was taking Vitamin D supplements. I'm on Femibion Healthy Preganancy at the mo, has oil capsule (not liver oil) and all the stuff, but not Vitamin D... hmmmph will have to go find myself some. Will probably swap to Boots oil + vit supplement for pregnancy when these are done as that has vit D.

Good luck to all those with scans and for everyone sickly, hope youve had a good day.
For everyone keep thinking sticky thoughts!

  • Hi All,

Hope its ok if I join you all. I must admit I am usually a lurker on these forums, but thought what the heck I could use the extra support and advice.:o

I'm 7 weeks today :D (EDD 3rd May 2013) I had a MC in March this year at 11 weeks and I am not sure how I am feeling this time round. I find myself comparing everything to the first time round.

So far this week I have managed to not throw up one day out of 5.....last time I was only sick once right up to 11 weeks.

I am hopingthat this means I have more hormones raging (fingers crossed) and that everything will be ok.

Have my first MW appointment on the 27th Sept....2 days before I get married....EEEKK!! I was going to see if I could get an early appointment and scan but I think that would stress me out more.

All went well with the scan. One baby with a normal heartbeat. Been moved forward a couple of days to 12+3 so now due on the 26 March.

    Hope everyone is well. xxx
