The baby is trying to make me very sick today. Had a nephew's party yesterday and felt quite well so ate the amount I normally would (only managed smaller portions since BFP)... big mistake, journey home nearly killed me and have been sick most of today. I think my body has just said.... stop, think, you're pregnant you know. So had to call in sick (which I hate doing as have strict appointments, so let people down), tried a bit of beans on toast after being sick at lunch, felt a bit better, told work I'll be in tomorrow and now feel sick again..... feeling sorry for myself
Hope everyone else is more perky today.x

i said the other morning, this is the first day in ages where i don't feel sick, and then about an hour later it hit me like a ton of bricks. I am lucky i think because i still haven't actually been physically sick just very nauseous most of the time. Hope you feel better tomorrow

Hello less-than-12-weekers :wave:

I got my BFP yesterday, it's early doors as I am not due on till tomorrow, but the great clearblue digi proclaimed me 1-2 weeks.

No EDD or anything yet, somewhere end of May/beg of June next year if all goes well. I have a drs appt next week to get the ball rolling.

Fingers crossed all turns out OK, Samii. And to chonorla, I hope your bleed is nothing serious.

2 more sleeps til my scan I've stopped bleeding now, but after 5 days of it I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. DH told me he's quietly hopeful that all will be OK. So, no pressure then

Bigbird - I have also got another scan on thursday at midday due to still bleeding on and off I am trying to remain optimistic too but its so hard when you just have that feeling...... Its hard for the OH's too and I know mine is trying his best, but every so often I just need some space and sadly he is usually in it at that moment and gets an earful - poor bloke Am sure your OH is trying to reassure rather than put pressure on you, but I agree they aren't always the most sensitive souls

lazywife - ooh I do that quite often, I think I am feeling ok enough to eat something I really fancy. Then one mouthful too many and I am back feeling very green again :rotfl: There is a fine line between full and oh dear...


Positive vibes to all of those (and me!) awaiting extra scans and lots of looking after yourselves to the ladies who are having a positive first 12 weeks xx

Thanks for all the thoughts and wishes everyone.. To be honest I'm not as upset as I thought I would be, I've told myself I have two beautiful boys and luckily never been through this before so I seem to be dealing with it.. However I am curled up on the sofa with burning pain low down in my tummy that's also going down my legs and round my back.. So I think things are happening tonight hope everybody else's scans go much better xxx
