Penguin-pleased to hear scan went okay today. I'm 12+1 so due date is two days after you on 28th March.

Scan was amazing yesterday, couldn't get over the beating heart and limbs moving for something the size of a thumb!wow!

Got told off by the midwife for having a high BMI so put a bit of a dampner on what should have been a fab day!

Goign to move upto the next thread now, all the best everyone!

helen4891 - hope you're less sickly today. I've an unusal obsession with cup a soup and bland, salty food. Great news DH wants to be so involved this time.
My DH wants to come along to MW booking in appt too. Wasnt' sure he'd be welcome, but I guess it's ok.

Great news on the scans ladies

It's handy for your OH to be at the booking appointment, if they can make it, as the MW will want to know about each of your medical histories, in case there's anything that might affect the bubba. Not a huge problem if they aren't though, as you can always pass the info on later.

I'm not doing too bad, Tinks, thanks for asking Still bleeding, but seems to be tailing off now. Although it seemed to have stopped last night, but was back again this morning, so who knows. I figure what will be will be, and I just have to wait til my EPU appointment next week to find out if this bean wants to make itself at home in there for the next few months (unless bleeding gets much heavier in the meantime).

I had an exam this morning. I'd not really studied enough for it and with all that's going on at the moment I wasn't really focussed on it and just wanted to get it over with and get out of there so I could carry on knicker checking So I wasn't expecting to pass - but somehow I did :T There was obviously a healthy dose of luck involved, so I just hope some of that will rub off on this little bean too.

I hope everyone else is OK and not feeling too tired/sicky/bloaty at the moment.

I nearly spat my juice all over the screen when I read about knicker watch!!

however, speaking of knicker watch, Im kind of glad that I need to go to the loo every 5 minutes as every now and then I feel a bit wet (and think the worst with the cramping) but its just CM - does anyone else have this?!

Good morning ladies! Hope you dont mind if I join you. I got my BFP last week. I'm pretty sure I'm 5 + 6. Got really excited about going to the doctor yesterday to get it confirmed etc. so it would all seem quite real, only to be told 'congratulations, come back in four weeks'. He didn't even test my wee! So I still feel like its not really happening. Other than sore breasts I dont really have any symptoms and for some strange reason have more energy than usual!

I think abundant cm is fairly common, newcook. It's just the hormones going into overdrive

Taking my vitiams make me want to hurl such fun!!! I still have no appetite took me 4 hours to eat a sandwich for lunch yesterday :eek:

AFM im hiding from OH, told him last night I'm not going to his mums today ( no special occasion or anything) and he's in a foul mood. He doesn't visit my family whenever I go to see them, and they all love him, his MIL hates me, always has and was pretty unsupportive when we told her about bump. Can't avoid OH all day though
