Newcook, I've had mild cramping for the past week and I think that's fairly normal with everything stretching.
Just spoke to my GP and he's got me an appointment for the EPU next Wednesday. There's not much point going earlier than that as there wouldn't be much to see. So just got to keep my fingers crossed til then. This 1 week wait is going to be sooooo much harder than the 2ww I just did
He said some bleeding and mild cramping is very common and to call him back if I'm doubled up in pain or bleeding gets very heavy.
But, on the plus side, it's our wedding anniversary next Wednesday. So even if it's bad news, at least I'll be able to celebrate with a glass or 2 of bubbly
I also need to think of what I'm going to tell my boss. I work from home but am supposed to be going up to the office next Wednesday. I think I'll wait til next week before I say anything, as it could all be over by then. You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0 -

Tink- although morning (?!) sickness is awful, I'm pleased for you that you have symptoms! I know a lack of symptoms isn't a sign of mc but having ms is surely a good sign?! I can 100% sympathise, i'm STILL off work with my ms! I'm 11+2 today though and hope it will ease soon
BB I have everything crossed for you x
Newcook- my b00bs were agony!! My nipples were sore and my whole chest hurt, I bought comfortise bras a while ago and they we're a godsend at night, wore them when sleeping and made it so much easier. About 2 weeks ago though, the pain just stopped. No pain since so don't worry
Still thinking of you lemon xx
AFM I bought 2 pairs of maternity jeans from mothercare yesterday, 1 under bump (which makes me feel a bit naked) and 1 over bump. Although I don't have a 'bump' yet I have a more rounded belly (I hope that makes sense) and find normal jeans need to be undone when I'm sitting down lol! These are amazing though, wore them for a while and makes such a difference and weirdly the over bump ones make me look thinner than normal jeans so good all roundSaving money like a trouper...0 -
BB so sorry you are having a worrying time. I completely understand when you say you are remembering why you didn't want to go trough the whole pg thing again. I'm equally as terrified of something going wrong when/if I get pregnant again.
It's a long, long road.
Fingers crossed for you hon. Remember nothing is certain in this journey. xMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Finally out of hospital and back at home with the kids and OH. Have been on a drip for nearly 30 hours because of the hyperemesis and am now on medication for the sickness and feel 100% better than when I went in! Can now actually eat and sip water - still don't fancy much but at least I have the option to eat and drink!
Had a scan while I was there to check there was only one bean in place. (The severity of my sickness meant they thought there was more than one in there ) And was put forward nearly a week, so am now 9 weeks 2 days. Unfortunately the scan showed that I have got a subchorionic hemotoma which is basically a bleed just outside the sac. Good news is I have not bled and it is smaller than the baby itself, so it is a waiting game until my twelve week scan to see if it has grown or disappeared. I have been told by the hospital to rest and I have googled (which I shouldn't have) So at the moment everything is crossed. Having a baby is stressful, I agree BigBird. There is always something to worry about.
Fingers crossed for you too.
Tinks - morning sickness - fingers crossed for all of us it disappears by 12-14 weeks!!! I wouldn't wish the feeling on anyone, it really does make you feel awful
dundeediva -also ouch to the boobs - mine have just joined the very sore nipple camp whenever they get a tiny bit cold, OH has asked what I am doing when I keep having to warm them up (wherever we are) :rotfl: It has to be done, they are so blinking painful!!!
Good luck to all those with scans tomorrow and very soon! And lets hear lots of good news about lots of sticky beans and dancey babies!!! :T0 -
