Thinking of you tinks, I hope a scan will help you relax a bit and enjoy it. I have been trying to think like that and just enjoy every moment no matter how long it lasts, if I lose another baby I still want its very short time with me to be a happy one rather than filled with worry (sorry if that doesnt make sense outside my head)

can totally understand that lemon xxx:A

Well, my brown spotting turned into some heavy-ish bleeding last night and this morning, so not looking too hopeful that this bean wants to stick around :( I did have bleeding with DS, but don't think it was as heavy as this. I'm going to phone my GP shortly, but doubt there's much they can do as I'm only just 5 weeks.

HUGS BB thinking of you hope u get some answers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:A:A:A:A

    Thanks newcook and tinks.

I spoke to the midwife and she says I need an emergency referral to EPU, but she can't do it as I'm not booked in with her yet. So I have a telephone appointment with my Doctor later, so they can do the referral. It's definitely not going to happen today though as the EPU clinic times are 8-10.30 and I'm not due to speak to the doctor til 11.30. Last time I had this, I had to wait til the following week for an appointment with EPU :(

I'm starting to remember why I said I wasn't doing this again after I had DS - having babies is much too stressful! :o

    Hi ladies!

I hope someone can help on this one!

I already know that mild cramps are normal but last night and today I have been constantly cramping – it took me ages to get to sleep last night despite being mega tired as no matter what position I lay in I ached. Since waking this morning, all Ive done is ache as if Ive got AF about to make her appearance (I used to suffer with quite bad AF pain so its not even as if its mild cramping – soooo want to pop an ibruprofen but know I cant have these when pregnant)

I’ve also started to get a bit light headed.

While I know these are apparently normal symptoms of early pregnancy I have also seen that they can be early signs of a miscarriage (damn you google) though at the moment Im not spotting/bleeding.

ETA - my b00bs have also stopped being as tender/sore as they were

Is it worth speaking to your gp/mw?

hiya, when I was booked in with my midwife, she told me not to worry about any cramps/pains etc, unless I was actually doubled up in pain. This was because there's lots of rearranging/stretching etc going on, and it's very normal to feel all sorts of weird sensations. If the pain isn't localised anywhere (eg shoulder tip which is potential sign of ectopic) and you're not bleeding, they'll probably just say that it's normal and to come in if something gets worse. :o

hope that helps :) my symptoms varied wildly from day to day in the first few weeks too, I would have days when boobs didn't hurt, and days when my own arm brushing past was agony! :o
