  • Hi all,

Glittermonster! I had been stalking you on the TTC thread - Welcome! Im so pleased for you.

Thank you so much to those who offered to make a donation to SANDS. I know my friend will be very very grateful.

MSMamma - I hope it is nothing to worry over. Wishing you all the very best.

I am now convinced I am either further along than I thought, or there is more than 1. My OH commented on how firm and protruding my stomach is already. If I stand sideways, you can visibly see a 'bump'. That should be unheard on at *6* weeks.....

Hope everyone is doing okay. PP - good effort on the gargantuan portions :D You are not alone in those!

Hi all I would welcome your comments

I had my last AF on the 9th Jan this year. I got a positive at the end of Jan. At the beginning of Feb I miscarried. I had blood test on the 9th Feb and my levels were 6 HCG then the following week they were below 1.

My AF did not reappear so last week I took a test and to my surprise it was positive!! I had bloods done last wednesday and my hcg was at 396. I think I might be 5 weeks now. I had some symptoms last week. I had a shocking cold so spent three days pretty much in bed. So tired, headaches etc but that could have been down to the cold. I did have 'feelings' down there. Last week I had terrible dry skin. This week its much better but that could be to do with the fact Im now using E45 each night.

Now this week. I have had nothing. My boobs are a tiny bit sore but thats now and then. Im not as tired and I dont get hardly any feelings anymore. I rung the midwife people today and they basically told me that as long as I hadnt had cramps or bleeding Im to just get on with it! I know practically this is the right thing to do but Im in pieces. It could be another month before I get to see the midwife. My doctor told me he wouldnt consider scanning me nor would he take more bloods to confirm my levels are going up. I dont want to phone them up again as I will appear to be the crazy woman.

I dont actually believe Im pregnant. Im so scared of miscarrying again. I actually believe I was pregnant last week but that my baby has died already and Im just waiting for the pains to come again. I have read somewhere that if you dont feel tired it means you dont have enough prostegene (sp?) or something. Is that right?

Is it normal to not have any symptoms ie tiredness and still have a healthy pregnancy? I feel like my life is on hold until I can either confirm my pregnancy or have a miscarriage and its a horrible way to live.

Im sorry if anyone is upset by my posting or finds it offensive. I really dont want to bring you all down I just dont know what to do. Thank you for reading. x

9 weeks.. been in maternity stuff since about 5 weeks.. bear in mind the boobs are an F!!

Skipe.. if you are at least 5 weeks now how about doing one of the digital tests which tell you how many weeks past conception you are? If it is 2-3 or 5+ that would fit in with your dates surely? I conceived straight after miscarriages a few times with good and bad results.. you take each day as it comes.. you could always be very dishonest and lie to the doc and say you've had some bleeding and go to EPU(but they won't usually scan until 6 weeks) or you see if you can book a private scan locally?

Pigpen my bump is a little smaller than your's.and i have to say i love leggins and jumpers i like to wear somethign diff every day ( ie leggins one day, boyfriend jeans another, bootlegs another, legging, skirt etc). but i'm struggling to feel comfy in anything at the mo. i just feel awkward, lol. i'm not brave enough to post a pic tho.

skipE, aww hun, hugs to you. sounds like you've had a tough time. i didn't get realy tiredness till about 6 ish week's. and then i put it down to being xmas, only getting a couple hours sleep at night, running the home and seeing to 3 little ones.

Even now apart from 2 days of queezy feeling ( xmas day and boxing day ,lol) and i had a couple days about 3 weeks ago. i've had no symptons what so ever about being preg. I went for my scan and i was so scared, i don't think i breathed while i was laying on the table until the scanner said theres the baby. i was shaking as i was convinved somethign was wrong. Even now at 17 +3 i still don't feel preg. yes i have a bump and i'm feeling movement's. i have energy, i feel great, i'm doing everything i did before . i just don't feel preg at all. your not alone in not having symptons, but i can fully understand why your feeling so worried.
