Wehey congrats Millie and Wallby! Great to see more good news.

My clinic called today and after oh so sensitively asking 'are you still pregnant' announced that they are putting my scan back a day.

It's pathetic but i had been counting down to Monday and now its the Tuesday. Really beginning to feel very nervous about it all and the delay isn't helping.

Hello everyone,

I can't believe I am finally here and I'm a little bit scared to leave the TTC thread, to be honest and super nervous about being pregnant and miscarrying.

A clearblue Digi confirmed I was pregnant today - so I should be 4 weeks tomorrow!

Welcome to the newbies - I'm really sorry but I'm very forgetful and having just read the last couple of pages I have totally forgotten people's names! But it's lovely to see new faces appear.

2ba3c - it is brilliant to see you here! I'm so pleased for you (yes I still lurk on the other threads). Super nervous is totally normal - at least it is for me! Lol!

Still feeling rotten but I think I would worry now if I didn't! However am off work this week so that is a good thing!

Hope everyone is doing ok! I'm still lurking as usual but not about as much this week. Normal service will resume next week!

Bad night's sleep here, I was overtired and my eyes were wide awake, but I was tired. Oops

On the upside, I get to see my horses later for the first time in days. Thankfully, I have been kept up with their antics, but I have been missing them like crazy

Welcome to all our newbies and congrats!

2ba3c, I have been following you a little - I am not a stalker, I promise, but my parents did things in a similar way to you and your DW and I have never met anyone else with the same background as me so I always find it quite cool whenever I hear about anyone else. They have finally set the date for their wedding for next year after 28 years of living in sin (or so I keep telling them :rotfl:).

Glad things went well for you yesterday Millie!

Right, now I have a little more time - scan was amazing, I didn't know that they were so clear so early on! Sonographer even showed us the hands and fingers! I was also surprised when he asked if we wanted to know what we are having - I didn't think they would tell you that early. We declined - we want it to be a surprise. Baby was a right wriggler, looked like it had hiccups the way it kept moving! Still having trouble connecting to the idea that what I saw on screen is actually inside me.

In other news (and to give you ladies a laugh!), we went to see my 79 year old Nan last night to tell her our news. She was pleased for us and then we started chatting about other stuff. She said to me "I brought myself a new book" and then shows me Fifty Shades of Grey!!! She then said "I don't think there really is all that stuff in it that they say it has". I told her I think it is a bit further in the book and that it definately has very rude bits in it to which she replied "Oh well, its something different to do rather than watching the telly, thats all filth on that as well"!!! :rotfl: My nan is honestly a bit mental!

2ba3c - Excuse my ignorance but just so i'm not confused ... are you female and in a same sex marriage? Or are you a man? I keep seeing you write DW which I take means Wife and I think from the posts it was your test not hers(if DW means wife?) so not a man posting about his wife (as we do get some from time to time...)

Just don't want to assume anything and then offend.

And if you are two women, how did you get a donor? Was it somebody you knew or did you have to go abroad for a private donor and what was that like?

Sorry - i'm young and naive above these things!

Walby - that's amazing it was so clear! I thought you didn't find out the sex till the 20 week scan? You must be so reassured that everything is ok.

2b - great to see you on here! I'm another one that lurks quite a lot on the other threads and has tried to keep up with everybody.

I just made a massive social faux pax this morning - introduced myself to someone I've met a few times before and asked him "is he x" only for him to respond, "yes, I've met you a few times before." Can't wait till I can blame it on baby brain!
