grrr. iam so annoyed now..:(

i am sorry if this is too much information. the reason i am at home today is because the boiler was 'supposed' to be fixed. from that problem we had discovered last night that we had no gas and the problem is linked obviously. then the boiler guy went this morning and the gas guys came, who have been outside since 10.:( our gas supply is blocked as the pipes have been filled with water and they need to come back tomorrow to pump the water out as its too much!!! i needed a shower. my hair is greasy and i wanted to be all clean for my scan tomorrow. what the hell am i going to do now? no food can be cooked too as no gas!! sorry i needed to moan. plus stupid headache! then i found out my friend has had a mc just after finding out she was pregnant last week! her 3rd one now... sigh sorryy will calm down

am just going through packs of kiddie sweets. second one now with dolly mixture.

I threw out my OH's deodorants when I was first pregnant as they made me puke every time he sprayed! I made him use my Dove stick one for a few months until I felt better

Just got back from the docs, he thinks I'm 8 weeks! I've got my booking in appointment on Tues.

Rups - could you ask family if you could go around theirs for a shower/bath because of your gas/boiler problems?

I'm not sure it's the toothpaste per se, although some might be more palatable than others. I think it's more the action of having the brush in your mouth. Even if I used no paste, when I was first pg just putting the brush near my teeth and tongue would have been enough to make me retch. And some days, just the thought of it would set me off.

thanks ladies. fluff is i threw DH's deodarants out he would be annoyed. they are disgusting though. will ask him to change them lol

we have no one near and we dont have a car so to even go and shower at my in laws, it would take us ages to get 2 buses there and then back. my mum lives 1.5 hours away by bus, train and tube, so i just cant be bothered.

i do feel sreally bad for my friend though too. poor thing. i have got to leave her alone as she always gets like that and doesnt cha t about things.

I'm in charge of toiletry purchasing in this house because of my husband's pathological laziness. Therefore, they just 'disappeared' and no more were forthcoming.

hehe i like that. my hubby is way too interfering that way. thinking about those sprays is making me feel worse. this headahce is still not budging!!

Local gym or swimming pool? I haven't got a shower and I usually wash my hair by using a shower hose on the taps and leaning over the bath. I've not been able to do this for a while, so I've been coinciding my hair washes with a swim so as to use their showers.

my gym is at work and it will take me 1 hour there and 1 hour back. oh well i will have to do something as i dont want to go smelly lol. is it ok to bend over in the tub and wash hair. someone was sayig its not good?
