JoJo - You use the first day of last af as day 1... so if that was 15th may then you are 5 + 2
(5 weeks and 2 days pregnant)
Although you probably weren't prgenant and probably didn't concieve for the first 2 weeks of that, that is how the NHS do it so that is how they will work out your dates.
At your 12 week scan they measure the baby and may change a bit.. I went forwards by 4 days so its not an exact science You should expect this sometime around 7th August going on your dates...but depending on where in the world you are you may have to chase them up a bit! :jBaby Boy born December 2012

working from home today as our boiler and now gas supply is busted.
meh...feeling a bit eeky today and got a slight headache. have made a lost for what i need tomorrow including calling a cab for scan. eek!
im too scared for s-x. besides havent been in the mood and tired. suits DH fine as he has got so much lazier after we had started dating.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Hi ya lovelies !! and welcome to the newbies...
Few things here, sports day for dd yesterday, she was so happy. People were taking the benches to be closer to the games, i couldnt do it nor that i tried but her teacher saw me and offered to do it for me. Strange i thought, i am not even showing... asked DD and she said she told one of her friends, and this little girl told the teacher...lol..
2* since founding out i am pregnant i just dont feel the * desire/need* to have sex at all, my libido is so down that i have a 30 yo DH begging and sulking for sex, funny tho cos as soon as i get a bump he wont touch me.
3* Family coming over on Saturday, the typical aunty that thinks you are pregnant everytime she sees you, it does my head in, even when i am slimmer and trimmer she asks if i am pregnant. This time wont be different and i am dreading it.. DH thinks we should tell her, i will be 8 wks by then, isnt it weird how husband assumes everything will be fine ? i know i have no history of misscarriages but still....Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -
agh nosey relatives hey? see how you feel. if you want to tell then tell as i know if there are bad times, the genuine people offer support. yesterday we met up for dinner with our friends (a lovely gay couple that DH knows) and we told them. they were so hapy for us. They were telling me to remain calm and stuff. i swear gay men have more feelings then straight men. DH then started talking to them about the nuchal test i had mentioed and was telling them how worried he was if it was high risk? that is what he is more worried about!! i wanted to slap him. lolBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

ohh yes, you are right, my ex boss was gay and he was such a lovely person ! kinda like a mum. Your OH, well at least he is interested in the pregnancy and baby right now ? i know that is so true. i am trying my best to be positive but he is worried about what if things dont go well? thought i was like that and worrying about everything? he didnt talk much about when we had the miscarriage in January. seems like he is just as scared as me, but wont talk about anything at all! sometimes when i just say silly things like 'you better be nice to US'. i dont get a response. think after tomorrow he might be more relaxed. lol. hoping all is going well. it will be fine, you know ? I do worry about scans and health problems, but i feel very mean writting this down or saying this to people, i don't want to hurt anybody. The scans, i was wondering if i will get the bood test and the nuchal scan but no further than that, can not even remember if i had it done with DD.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0

yeah have to stop worrying now its this close. eek!!! its half exciting half scary. got to go with the flow right? keep being positive.. i am hungry now. hehe. i ate breakfast at 8 and now i need to eat. the boiler and now gas guys are still outside working. poor them. maybe should offer more tea. what can i eat esp as the gas cooker is not working? grrrBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
