Afternoon all

Everything is still swaying and off balance here ever since I saw the Dr yesterday I have felt much worse. Can't work out if it's just psychological - I know more of the symptoms of labrinthytus (sp?)/vertigo from the doc so I'm more aware of them now IYKWIM. Or whether I'm actually feeling worse.

I've only skimmed the thread as it's not easy to read the screen at moment, but nice to see you posting JackieG

I was meant to go to my friend's tonight to watch the rugby (Wales v England) but I'm not feeling up to it, plus I'm just in a 'feeling sorry for myself mood' and want to put my pjs on and cwtch in for the night.

The plumber came today and has finally fixed the tiles in the bathroom. The lettign agent was here to let him in. Job looks well done. I'm to meant to use shower for few days but will just put bin bag up again to protect the area whilst I wash my hair.

OS wise - WM is on with towels, dinner will be from freezer and I bought eggs from the honesty box stand today .

ı remember the great storm of 87 for beıng out in the storm--i met a girl in a bar and offered to give her a lift home in my convertable but she wouldnt tell me where she lived! we were going around in circles in the centre of bournemouth and on the seafront it was getting hairy!! in the end i gave in and took her to my place lol--you can tell the first raki is on the go!---i just remember a slight breeze outside but didnt get much sleep!!

Very sorry to hear this paula.
My own gran paernts (dads mom and dad) Died back in 2000. With in 10 days of each other.
They were my last ones. My other nan passed away when i was only 8 years old . and my grandad before i was born.

Think of all the happy times you had. Im sure that she was very happy to have you as her DGD.

Sorry that your not feeling any better. It can take a while to go.

Flutterby and Halight - sorry you're both still poorly. Hope you're both feeling better soon.

Loulou - I would also recommend steaming too or at least inhaling some olbas oil on a tissue. I never found Karvol strong enough If DS can't bear steaming under a towel can you run a really hot shower in the bathroom, get that all nice and steamy and sit in there for a bit. Pretend you're having a spa day


H text me to say he's sorting supper out. Which means he's either going to buy it from Sainsburys or have a takeaway. Still it's date night, I am tired and CBA to cook
