Can anyone tell me what all the stuff on the supplement and dosage list is for?

i know arnica tablets are to help with bruising but my midwife said they shouldnt be taken until after birth.

whats the rest of the stuff for?

BB is now keeping my awake at night dancing the merry chacha.
i get my own back on my hubby though by spooning him so the baby kicks him in the back!

I usually spend a good couple of hours on the loo before scans lol.. mine is 9:30 next week and I'm hoping I'll be too busy getting the children ready for school and Squeak fed I won't need to 'go' so often lol.

    Are you asking the flavour?

    I feel sick

Hardly slept again last night ... kept getting those funny tummy cramps but I've not been ill, and they weren't BH as my bump wasn't contracting. When baby was moving around thought it was hurting, like sore and bruised inside. Weird. At MW tomorrow so will mention it, although I'm sure I'll get the stock answer of 'it's all normal aches and pains because you've had so many babies' :p

I've just had this need this morning to make a note of some important phone numbers 'just in case' like school, and which classes the kids are in. I'm going to give it to my mum but put a copy in my hospital notes just in case I end up going in a rush! They're on holiday this week anyway, but I'm just trying to be prepared :D

I aim to have my hospital bag packed and ready by the weekend when I hit 36 weeks.

It suddenly seems really close :o

Well it turns out that it is chicken pox but minimal risk to me as I've had it. Bit upset today as my sister's best friend has had a girl this morning after a boy and has used our blimmin name - Erin! Ok so I know I'm being silly and hormonal but my dream was of a little girl called Erin to give my boys a sister. I know that a healthy baby is more important but can't help but feel a little jealous today!

I know how you feel :o

Shortly after we announced we were expecting, we found out via something on facebook that DHs brother and wife were also expecting (we aren't in contact with any of DHs family, and they don't even know we're expecting - long story) so my main concern from that point on was what if we picked the same name as each other without realising. We found out last month that they have had their baby via a profile photo on facebook, but it wasn't apparent whether it was a girl or boy. We know we're having a boy and have a name picked out. I was so anxious to know what they had, and what it was called, and couldn't settle until DH managed to suss out via facebook it was a girl, so panic over!

Also, since becoming pregnant, both my cousins have also announced their pregnancies .... so I am now hoping that I have given birth and named my baby before they have their 20 week gender scans just in case either of them pick 'my' name :o

Naming your baby is so special, so I think it once you have settled on a name it is really hard to then have that name 'removed' from you.

How often do you see her? If never then you can still use it. It would be different if she was your friend or your sister!

2 of OH's friends.. who also are mutual friends and spend a lot of time together both called their daughter Isabelle.. I'd have been furious!!

tbh though.. I wouldn't use it.. I'd have to have something different OH called ours Freja and I hate it.. it is so common and horrible and everyone and their do has a Freya it seems.. and everyone spells it wrong as we have the spelling with a J not a Y.. But then you always get some muppet who can't read or spell.. you won't believe how many variations of Lily we have had.. how hard is it really? it is a well known flower FGS.. people are just thick!

    Afternoon All

Haven't been around much over the weekend so apologies to anything I have missed & massive labour vibes to those who want them!

Anderson Raspberry Leaf tea is for strengthening your uterus I think. Not sure about the other things though.

PP no I won't use it now which is a shame cos I've had it picked out since I was expecting DS2 - and she knew that. I remember her asking what he would have been called if he was a girl and I told her. Shows I have good taste I suppose! But I won't use a name that my friends have already used. Don't want to be accused of copying lol!!

    Hello again.
Everything went really well at the scan. It's amazing how clearly you can see everything whilst they are checking for anomalies. The heart, legs, spine etc. I wish I had a scanner at home, I'd be looking at bubs all day long.

After spending 4 months calling my bump 'him', my hubby and I have to get used to saying 'she'....we're team pink! It was a massive shock as we were convinced it was a boy. My hubby is 1 of 3 boys so it'll be nice to have a girl in their family.
I'm so relieved everything was ok. Phew!
