Hiya 4nnabelle and kalico- there's plenty of info on here.
Speaking of info, I keep feeling a fluttering feeling very down low- is that Hitchhiker beginning to move? 14 weeks...
I felt little miss move during my 12 week scan which I think was because they had to press so hard to get a decent look! It felt like little bubbles. (Didn't feel her again though until 20-something weeks.)0 -
Morning ladies
I've not been on for soooooooooooo long and there is so much to catch up with, I just don't have the time so I'm sorry if I "ignore" any huge news.
Congrats on the new babies - there have been loads recently, and there are still loads to come!! Bumper baby summer!!
Labour vibes to all bold ladies - come on out babies, and meet your mummies!!
Welcome to all newbies:hello:
I'm 24+5 today. Had my m/w appointment on Tuesday and all is well. She thinks I'm suffering with an expanding rib cage as I get a stitch like pain on my RHS, front and back. Might need to get re-measured for a new bra - only got one about 8 weeks ago!! Bah.
Went to my first Aqua-Natal class last night - it was really good. I don't usually enjoy gentle exercise (preferring the "burn" if I exercise) but it was enjoyable and I felt loads better afterwards. Nice to be around other pregnant ladies too.
We've done most of our buying now - pram is waiting to be collected, nursery furniture is waiting to be delivered and we have lots of bits and bobs. Just the boring things like pads and flannels etc to get now really, think I may have got organised too soon!
Only 61 more days at work until ML - great that it doesn't sound too many, but I have so much to do that it panics me a bit! Eek!
Will try to pop on more to attempt to keep up!

And I have a stinking cold.. as does OH and it looks like Squeak has too.. on top of her evil cough.. OH is drugged with Day nurse, Squeak is drugged with Medised and tixylix and I have a kitchen roll and a tub of vaseline.. lucky me!!
I have somehow (I think it was traipsing round B&Q) twisted my right knee.. which is my good knee!! so that is drugged with paracetamol and codeine.
And I still haven't had any decent sleep and I am shattered... still.

Hi all
Have seen the midwife and baby seems to have turned in the night so he is now head down butt up lol. Its definitely strange having him lay like this after having his head in my ribs for so long. I feel like sometimes I cant stand up straight because it feels heavy lol. measurements are on target 34cm @ 34 weeks. He hid from the doppler so didnt hear much of his heartbeat but I know he is ok because he had been giving me trouble in the waiting room before hand!I now have to go back at 37 weeks. I have antenatal class thing on Sunday so another thing out of the way then and the big day draws closer and closer!
Husband text me from work saying our HR person told him his paternity leave wont necessarily start when we have baby... uh yes it will thanks!:j0 -
hey all
Just back from the midwife, ive always been measuring about a week and a half ahead but now im measuring 35cm at 31+4.
Shes going to check me at my next appointment in 3 weeks and then decide whether i need a scan or not! eeekk!0 -
I was measuring slightly ahead every week , then on Tuesday at 35+1 I measured spot on , lol. Loving the sun being out , got loads of baby clothes on the line , so cute. Been organising stuff bit by bit this week so it doesnt feel like a massive chore. Tonight is setting up carrycot on stand and putting sheets on etc. Tomorrow night is building storage box and putting play gym and other little toys inside. Hope its a nice weekend , I bought some lovely maxi-dresses for while I was pregnant and Ive only had the chance to wear one. Also been sorting out my baby shower with my sister , got the invites made , and games sorted , just need to order some bunting and serving platters now.Hope everyone is well today. Cant believe Ive only got 4 weeks to go , Im going to miss being pregnant so muchThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Ahhh, these measurements are all guesstimates anyway - I'm sure baby is fine.
Think of an extra chance to see your baby as a bonus!

Yeah , we are doing baby bingo , guess the size of mummys bump, name the teddy bear , how many sweets are in the baby bottle. Just wee games to break the ice and make it less about me ,none of my friends have children and dont want them at any stage , so thought I better make it less about the baby and more fun. So we have pink champers for the ones that can drink and lots of little sandwichs and victoria and sponge and tea , very vintage and shabby chic inspired .Just hope baby stays put untill I have party , lolThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!
