Anyone else not getting any braxton hicks at all ? I'm 32 weeks pregnant today and the only sign of pregnancy is my rather small bump. The only other thing I get is pelvic girdle pain. I forget I am pregnant half the time

Welcome Emerald. I've only had very long babies who always measure big but I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

Sparkle - glad your mum is doing so well. Must be such a relief.

abby is this your first pregnancy? I didn't get any BHs at all with my first. Had tightenings but were painless - my bump just used to go hard sometimes but not painful or uncomfortable. Glad you are feeling so well!
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!

    Hi Abby,

    I'm 31+5 right now and I don't think I am getting BH. If I am, I'm not noticing! :p

My OH's family have light babies.. OH wa 6lb 8.. and he is now 6ft 4... I was a month early 8lb 13 and am now 5 ft 3.... Something wrong somewhere! lol

Squeak was really long as well and this one is feeling rather snakey.. Half the problems I had with Squeak was that she was so long and didn't have room for her body so was pushing the front of my pelvis down and putting pressure on everything else.. but she was 6lb 14 so not heavy... but 22inches long is more than I can handle.. my next longest was 18 inches! massive difference!

    Hey ladies...Very quick update!

Our beautiful daughter Betsy May arrived at 14.53 on Friday 27th May. She weighed 6lb 10oz & she is just perfect :T The labour was pretty good all in all although I had a forceps delivery as they thought the cord may be round her neck as her heartbeat kept dipping. I wasn't very keen on the idea of forceps at all but I had a very positive experience. 5 pushes & a bit of pulling & she was born :) She looks just like Ruby when she was a newborn. I'm on cloud nine! :j

    Congratulations!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j

Well I've had the worst few days of pain ever :(

Spent Saturday night on or leaning over my birthing ball just to try and get a change of position from laying or sitting on the sofa. Did too much last week and suffered for it I think. The good news is my parents are now home from their hols so I have some support again in case I need to dash off. Had a row with ex-H over the kids again. Last night I didn't get much sleep, and the kids are on half term now too so not getting much rest through the day either.

4 weeks and 4 days to go .......

Oh, and I am officially no longer on the sick and have started my maternity leave :rotfl:

ETA: Just to update you all as well, Babyboysmummy is allowed to take baby Alfred home at long last!!!! He has done so well!!!! :D

    Congrats to Becky

Hope everyone is well? I'm sorry, but i just need to rant! Why is it that my DH is such a muppet sometimes!!! I could scream!
Aside from the usual, of trying to still keep everything ticking over dispite being 32weeks pregnant, I also have him acting like an absolute child....
Today he has hit new limits, and I am now getting to the point where I just want to dig my heels in and behave in the same stubborn manner as him....i know this won't sort things, but i will feel a LOT better!!

Does anyone have any good pregnancy stress-relief tips!!

    And rant over...........

On a positive, I have my midwife appointment tomorrow :)

Does it matter if you end up in prison?:rotfl: Because I'm pretty sure that whacking him over the head with something heavy would make you feel better :rotfl:
