I didnt get my bump untill I was five and half months and now Im praying for it too stop growing(obviously I dont wish my baby any harm) , Got 2 stretch marks. Totally gutted.It actually feels like my skin is going to burst open , its soo tight and hard you can clearly see wheere bubs is lying , lol It freaks my OH out. Got on the scales today and wasnt too upset Ive put on 1stone 6lb and Ive got 5 and half weeks to go. So should keep it to the 2 stone recomended weight gain. Is any of you guys doing a sweepstake for friends and family ? Guess the weight and sex?

This is definitely our last planned pregnancy too.....and the only one so far where anything has gone vaguely like it is supposed to! :rotfl: I even discovered that I have some stretch marks this morning which I was actually happy about as it means my baby is still growing as she should be.

Im just gutted as I honestly didnt think I would get them. Ive not put on that much weight and my bump measures exactly right for weeks and Ive oiled my tummy every day and night. But the stretch marks are where my bellybutton used to be peirced and the midwife said that scar tissue doesnt stretch like normal skin. However in the grand scheme of things , a few purple marks to get a lovely little baby-I think I can deal with that , lol

Well they never go.. but at least they stop being red and raw looking.. though that said mine never did really.. my oldest is 20 in September!

PP-WOWZER.I hope you dont take offence , but my bump is smaller than that , lol.Youre all bump though , the rest of you doesnt look pregnant at all. My MIL keeps saying " Just wait , the last 4 weeks are awful you blow up like a balloon , your face gets fat etc.." I refrain from hitting her or saying something mean but I really get annoyed at people thinking they know everything
