    Hello everybody. :D

Had a quick read through so sorry if I missed anything but
Becky your OH sounds like a total Gem......mine would do the same too....eventually......but only after somebody else had pointed him in the right direction as it would jupst not occur to him to do it by himself! :rotfl:
Lablover sorry your weekend did not go as well as it should have :(
Kandboys it may be best checking your hospitals current policy on single rooms as I know that in my area you can no longer book them through hotel services they are kept for multiple births, mothers with severe post natal complications and mothers with babies in intensive and special care as putting these ladies on a ward surrounded by happy families is just a bit too insensitive :o
Alwayspuzzled sorry you are having such a hard time with your OH just now please let us know if there is anything anybody can do to help

Have had a brilliant day today and totally love the world. :D. Growth scan shows that my baby is continuing to thrive and is still measuring well above 95th centile. :D. So looks like I finally going to make it to term as planned. :D

I had 6-8 weeks.. yes weeks.. of bleeding after my older 8.. after Squeak I had about 10 days.. the difference was unbelievable... but great because the pads make me incredibly sore so I end up with creams for the reactions and thrush.. I used about 5 maternity pads after Squeak.. I was going to ebay my remaining ones until I discovered this one was happening.. yes it took me 6 months to think about ebay!

but also after the older ones I didn't have af for over a year.. well.. in effect I won't after Squeak either because I was pregnant again before I had one! Oops!!

Sometimes I love being me ... NOT!

Maternity bricks, lol thats brilliant. I hate to rub it in because I know alot of you girls have had a horrid time , but has anyone else been the exact opposite? I was commenting to my midwife this morning that I feel really well and healthy and she said that happens to some people.I honestly havent felt better, lol Wonder if I will go back to a grumpy ,sour faced hypocondriac as soon as bubs is out ?

    Me :D

I have a few aches and pains but nothing worth majorly complaining about and honestly Im really enjoying being pregnant! Just hope my labour is like a quick sneeze, 2 pushes and baby is out, although knowing my luck my labour will make up for the easy pregnancy!

Washed my car seat cover yesterday (after finally realising how to get it off the thing!) but it's looking a bit faded. Anybody know where you can buy spare Maxi Cosi Cabriofix covers? I've seen the summer covers in a few places but they are towelling and I want a proper one!

Yes they both only have the summer covers. Maxi Cosi website says there are replacement covers available in limited designs - but I've tried all the usual suspects and can't find any!

    Hi everyone,

I am catching up now on posts, had a lovely weekend with my mum and the surprise worked well. My feet were very swollen after each flight and also during my stay due to heat but apart from that I was fine and so glad I went. Easyjet didn't even ask for a Doctors' letter, so all that faff for nothing! You get to board amongst the first though which is at least something...

AlwaysPuzzled hope your OH grows up a bit soon as you're needing his support and it sounds like he competes with your kids for your attention. Would a nice quiet night with him and a meal out help things? Maybe some baby sitting by relatives or friends and in depth chat to make him realise how much you will be depending on him... good luck anyway!

Thanks KM I will check as I wouldn't want to take one away from someone who really needs it. I spent my first night after having DS2 back on delivery as I had lost a lot of blood during my section so was being continually monitored in case I needed a transfusion. Luckily I didn't. Then I was just moved to post natal but didn't sleep a wink as the person next to me had her TV on all the blimmin time!!!
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!

Hi everyone, Just catching up with things. Not been able to log in much as Tomos (he has a name now!) is taking up most of my time, as expected. He is a month old today, is still a bit unsettled but we are getting there!

    Hope everyone is OK,

Apricot found some listed on a site called olivers baby care....never used it though so don't know if it is reliable. Can you call your local baby shop and ask if they can order one in for you?

Kandboys sorry you had such a rubbish time post delivery last time but every area is different and works differently so you may still be able to in your area. :D

Sparkle so nice to hear about your weekend away going well. :D
