Actually im looking at all the stuff to pack for baby and maybe it wont fit in changing bag, aarrggghhh !!!!
I haven't bought a changing bag either - just realised lol!:D
I was thinking back to my sister having my niece and she had a holdall each but they kept her in 4/5 days due to them both having strep b. Im thinking one bag between me and bubs is fine - I will have a back up bag packed for in case we have to stay in as asking OH to try and find things is far too stressful as I know he'll get all the wrong things!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
Yeah , maybe I can put some of bubs stuff in my bag, and put the rest in changing bag. If I get kept in for longer it wont be a problem , we are about 3 miles from the hospital so I can send OH to get stuffThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Yeah a back up bag is a good idea, extra nappies , extra clothes for me etc... might do that. Bought my RLT capsules at the weekend , they are 1/2 price in Holland and BarrettThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

I've got quite a decent sized bag for hospital, so that a) I can use it again when we go away anytime and b) I always end up needing extra stuff bringing in because I never ever get let out straight away
I'm using the freebie Boots changing bag for baby's things. I have already been told to plan for a 'few days' stay due to antibodies, and I have the possibility of strep B too, and they made me stay in a full 48hrs after delivery when I tested positive last time. I'm just going to expect 2-3 days and see anything less as a bonus.

Problem is, once you put in a dressing gown, PJs, pads, nappies, wipes, clothes, toiletries etc the bag is full! I had to take a suitcase lol!!Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

I don't take a dressing gown.. I wear a long cardy when I go in and use that! I don't take slippers I have slip on pumps that I use instead. I don't take clothes for me just nighties, knix and I wear my goin in stuff for coming home.. and I have a carrier which I leave at home in the car seat with a set of clothes for me and a coat and blanket for the baby.
I have for me..
2 nighties
10 pads 5 disp knix
2 bras
socks
toiletries
towel
For baby
3 bodysuits
3 sleepsuits
3 cardies
muslin square
wipes
15 nappies
bunny/bear
bottle juice, camera, puzzle book
In another bag at home I leave a towel, 2 nighties, more pads and knix and socks, 3 outfits for baby same as above.. and the other half pack of nappies.
then I get irritated and discharge us both and come home lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I know they are a monstrocity (sp?!). That's a good list thanks Pigpen. I'm expecting an elective c-section this time which will be a bit different as both of my boys were 2 weeks late then ended up with the c-section with DS2 anyway. So at least I can plan a bit better - last time things were up in the air and I was in and out of hospital before delivering.
I've just had a great result from the Baby Show. I complained as I had a problem with the tickets and they are paying for my lunch and car parking on the day as a gesture of goodwill :jThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0
