lol! - in my experience it is usually the overweight people that tend to comment the most - perhaps it makes them feel better about their own body image - who knows?!

    That is so true!!

Anyway, it's all baby's fault - he likes Toffee Crisps too much....

    xDx

Ladies if these are most worthwhile comments or contribution to an ongoing conversation that these people can think to make are their opinions really worth bothering about? :rotfl: I am getting the opposite and am having people comment on how mine should be much bigger and then having the nerve to ask if all is ok.....which I know for a fact it is as my baby gets scanned fortnightly and is off the chart for growth. However that does not stop their rudeness from astounding me!

Ditto!! I'm also getting kicked on both sides at the same time which is making me wonder even more!! I'm 18 weeks now, I don't think there is much between us is there? Reassuring if we're both enormous lol!

No not much difference, I'm 18 weeks on Friday. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one then that's getting this!

I'm due about the same time as you and Sandy.. daft question but how much is your moving?

I get a couple of wiggles once every day or 3 and that's about it.. at 13-14 weeks I felt proper kicking and it just doesn't move.. it is bizarre.. my last one was hopping about like a flea by now!

Not much but then this is my first so I've read it will take longer for me to feel them than someone who has had children already.
I felt my first flutter about a week ago then nothing till about 2 days ago where I felt it twice. I have a couple already today so maybe they're getting more stronger.
To be honest, they're so infrequently I often wonder whether it's just trapped wind rather than baby!

Lots! I first felt flutters at about 12-13 weeks and its just got progressively stronger. I'm not really keeping track but I would guess its doing at least one cartwheel an hour. Goes absolutely mad about 20 minutes after I eat or if I lie down, especially in the bath for some reason. The only time its still is when DH tries to catch a kick lol

I feel really sick today :(

Woke up at 5.30 this morning which is totally unheard of for me. I just feel like nothing I've eaten has 'gone down' yet. Baby is hyperactive today which isn't helping. Might go have a sleep :(

I have had loads of comments about the size of my bump too, with plenty of people asking if it's twins  It's so annoying. I felt huge weeks ago, but now I don't feel overly huge for my gestation. I am looking forward to getting back into normal clothes in a few weeks though :)

Puzzled.. they are most probably enlarged glands from the hormones floating about They usually come up at the perimeters of the breast tissue.. are they smooth and ovalish?.. sinister things are usually lumpy and irregular shaped. Have you been wearing an underwire? It may be where the ends are rubbing? And stop poking.. that won't help at all!!

aaaaaaaaaa just replied and supid computer went

thanks for the reassurance :) i am now convinced they are glands :) Ive not been wearing undwire since week 8 as b o o b s went mental then so am thinking it must be the normal changes, will still check with midwife next week though :)

I am being told im big too - but since ive got 18 weeks to go im sure that im gonna get a heck of a lot bigger - am just wondering what they are going to say next -"OMG you are an elephant" might provoke a slap or two :)

Wouldn't worry about people's comments. It's mildly shocked me that a random lady in a shopping centre stroked my stomach and complimented me on being 4-5 months along! Was almost embarrassed to tell her I'm 10 weeks. But, mine are twins, and I'm tall and slim anyway, so it shows more.....

Puzzled, if anyone tells you you're an elephant, def slap them, then blame it on hormones, and smile nicely. :)

Lol, thanks, i have already reminded a few people that i can get away with murder in pregnancy if they push me -cue nervous laughter from them and a innocent smile from me :)
