Birth was OK until the last bit, might do my birth story now as think it would help to write it down.
Hope all ladies and bumps are well, will post a piccie soon, and read back a bit
Congratulations hun. :j
Wow 11lb, my biggest so far was 8lb 14oz & that was bad enough. :eek:I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Congrats Alamaya and Digitalphase!
Don't know if anyone else can't sleep- I'm up from 5-6 every morning, just too warm to sleep any longer. Just started 2 weeks holidays too!0 -
I am exactly the same Lirin not only is it warm but the sun seems to be fully up by 05:00 which then means I am up for the day whether I want to or not as have never been able to sleep when it is sunny.0

Congrats Digital, wow you brave lady - hope to read your story soon and that baby Alexander is doing well!
Kandboys have you tried just having some plain boiled rice with maybe some lemon juice for flavouring? Very gentle on the tummy and may help until you can see doc.
Re: heat, I didn't sleep all that well last night, but managed - not too sweaty just yet but I can imagine being really uncomfortable soon as the temperatures start to get higher.
Apricot I can relate as our cat although not swiping at limbs, does like to join us as soon as he sees we are awake. He was so cute this morning and snuggled up between the two of us, in a little cashew shape and purring away. I am glad as for the longest time he wouldn't come in, I thought it might be he could sense my hormones changing etc...:):)

Morning Everyone
Congratulations on the births, ive not had chance to read back and looks like im in for a mental day at work so sorry for anything ive missed!
I am trying to decide if i am overreacting, i have two lumps (one on each breast) both are identical, inside breast by cleavage area, about the size of the yolk of a fried egg, they are smaller in the morning and much more pronounced at bed time, you can clearly see the outline. They are sore (after i have been investigating them lol) which i belive is a good sign, and with both being the same and reacting in the same way im not too worried and am guessing its just a development thing ....
I am seeing the midwife in 3 weeks so am thinking i am going to give them a couple more days (only noticed them on Friday) and will see what happens - not asking for medical advice just wondering if anyone thinks i should try and contact the midwife now or if anyone else has experienced this?
Elvis has been moving around like mad all weekend, OH felt his first kicks with his hand (only felt them before with his head on my bump) and we have seen the kicks as well, ive got some regular times when i have noticed movement and am putting on weight at about the right weight (which is putting my mind at rest about the GTT as im hoping my diet changes will prevent so i dont need a cure.
Sorry for waffling on so much and not being much use to anyone else!
Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning girls
Firstly congrats to Almaya and Digi - both fab names and Digi - what an amazing weight!! Hope you both are doing ok.
Welcome Elmo - almost a bump buddy!
Bella - congrats on team blue - we managed to stay team yellow, although was tempting to find out when we were having the scan!
Sammy - hello - hope you and Esme are doing well!!
Puzzled - so exciting that your OH has felt movements - you're due a few days before me so shouldn't be too long until DH can feel mine - baby has been quite active over the weekend.
Ordered my pram and car seat at the weekend - M&P Sola which has £50 off the car seat, 10% off the pram and 3 for 2 on accessories - feels very real now!
Oh, and had a fight with a pair of tights this morning......
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -
Puzzled firstly don't panic it is probably nothing serious but is probably best to call your midwife anyway as pregnancy itself is stressful enough anyway.
. Not sure if it will be any help but I used to get something similar when working in hot wards in the summer. My bra was rubbing where my skin was too warm and a bit clammy when I was really busy.

Morning all!
Congratulations Almaya and Digital!
Puzzled - I'd give your midwife a bell, just to get reassurance if nothing else
I'm freezing at night! My feet are permanent blocks of ice! Not sure if I'd rather be hot or cold...
Ooo exciting about your pram Debs! I think DH and I have chosen ours - a Britax B-Smart 4 - couldn't be much further away from the Silver Cross Surf that I'd set my heart on, but our baby shop has an offer on that is too good to leave. Its the pushchair, carrycot, car seat, changing bag and cosy toes (and free storage until bubs arrives) for £399. Bargain! Got to ring up ths morning and see if the offer will still be available on payday :rotfl:
Oh and congrats on your "achievement" MrsS0 -
Thanks for all the advice. I don't think I am getting dehydrated as I am drinking lots - just don't want to eat much! Feel like such an emotional wreck today. My husband has gone away on a training course 200 miles away until late Thursday and my 2 year old has been absolutely vile all weekend and especially this morning. Just need someone to give me a slap and say stop being so wet!!Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

Please wish me good luck! I have 5 hours to revise for it (havent been able to so far due to essays) and write my exam notes.
Luckily I get to take one A4 sheet of paper in so can kinda write my answers on that and expand. I get a room to myself because I'm preggers ^^ which is nice because I hate sitting in a room with other people. Especially as the exam hall is 4 miles from university. So I get to sit it AT university and not trek somewhere I've never been.
I need to ban myself from all these websites today....Money money money.
