Morning all! Am in work but at least it's Friday and it's looking like we should have a lovely sunny weekend!
I have no clothes that look nice - it's starting to get on my nerves now. I have a couple of pairs of maternity jeans but need some nice tops and things so I think that is going to be my mission for the weekend!

Hope everyone is well & we have some announcements from our boldies today!

Morning everyone,

Well I have decided this rest has obviously been doing my blood pressure some good so today I intend to sit in the garden with my book I'm going back to work next week, so want to try and get my blood pressure as much back to normal as I can by then!

Today we are off to the outlaws... I will NOT be placating his mother.. if she pee's me off she is going to know about it.. my hayfever is horrific, I barely slept and I feel sick due to the amount of snot I am producing.. oh.. and my nose is so sore!

She won't have to look after Dot.. I do.. and it is none of her chuffing business whether OH and I have 2 children or 92..

I will not be spoken to like a naughty child...

Morning all!

The midwife is hopefully as we speak on her way to me to try a sweep again. Hoping it works this time. Slightly concerned now though as time is going on as the baby is a growing and I still haven't had a growth scan - the fundal height chart says it is estimated at close to 10 and a half pounds! Worried that I will go into labour at the weekend without being prepared!

Have decided that I will ask for an epidural as soon as I can with my chart as evidence that I may just need one! Never had epidural (or any pain relief in the end) with DS, but am soooo petrified of pushing out an elephant! Not going to bother with the pool, which was my original plan. Straight for the drugs!!

40 plus 2 today - labour vibes to all boldies and love to the others x

hope those with hayfever and spd (and irritating relatives) get some relief... good luck dipsy and other boldies

just a silly thought before I settle into work proper - went swimming yesterday and had a bit of a shock when I saw that the side of my belly button had collapsed down a little - is this the beginning of getting an outie?...

I know it can happen but wasn't expecting it this soon - am only 19+3 with only a little bump. OH joked that he'd not be able to come near me now
... not impressed

Also related to this, has anyone had a naval piercing and what happens to the hole - had one in my teens but took it out 6 years ago (probably tmi but had to get rid of it when I got entangled in OH's pants :rotfl:) I'm worried that it will stretch to high heaven... using lots of vit E oil at the moment but not sure if this will be enough

anyway enough from me...
can't wait for next scan - bump is hiding from doppler so am going to leave it alone til after wed x

Apricot - they have some lovely spring stuff in the shops so hopefully will have some nice maternity stuff.

Flower - sounds like taking it easy is doing you good so keep at it!

Pigpen - good luck with the 'outlaws'!

Dipsy - good luck with the sweep. The measurements could be totally wrong so try not to worry.

Forumgrazer - i used to have belly button pierced and the holes have sstrtched a little sort of sideways , not a big gaping hole but it is all red as well which looks lovely. Looks weird as my belly button was quite deep and is now flat with these two holes above it lol.

Dipsy-is it wrong that I'm looking forward to the MW coming round on Monday to do another sweep?! I keep thinking that this time it may work and labour will start soon after. Fingers crossed!

Still no signs of baby!
