PC- Aris is an unusual name, what are the origins?

It's Greek (as is my DH) I had to pick a Greek saints name and most of them are so weird it took along time to agree on something that sounded good in both Greek and English. For eg DH's cousins with the weirdest names are Alchemimi and Haralambus!

Thanks for all the well wishes I'll be back with a birth story soon.

Digital Im 27+4 and will be 28+4 by the time my class starts. It did say on my booking paperwork that you start ante-natal classes at 32 weeks , as they run for 4 weeks but due to the hight demand you may have to go earlier or may not get picked at all. Mine is a day class and someone told me the pillow is for sitting on the floor? Think mum sits on pillow and OH sits behind and rubs back or something ? Lol No idea. OH is really not looking forward to it , but I want to learn about breastfeeding , it hasnt been mentioned once at any of my appointments ? Nor have I had any leaflets about it . The only thing I know about breast feeding is you use a boob.... No idea about swapping boobs? How to get baby to latch on correctly ? Nadda
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

We didn't do any breathing type stuff at mine so have no idea on that sort of thing lol! I went to a seperate breastfeeding workshop which was really useful or info about breastfeeding.

Lablover - ours was a day antenatal class and we didn't need pillows or anything. Everyone just wore normal clothes.

    Hi to Lynn!

Well I went and got measured in Debenhams, the lady was very nice. Pre pregnancy I was 32dd and now am 36d. Bought a couple of nursing bras but she said is a good idea to go back and get measured again after baby.

So you were a bigger cup size pre-preg than during?? I went up one back size and one cup size, so from 34C to 36D. Will need remeasuring in a couple of weeks for some nursing bras, and will go to Mothercare as they were fab last time :)

Ah we're going to the three evening classes as it's better for OH's work :) I don't think my OH wanted to go at all, but he learned about what's happening and think it helped prepare him more. Hopefully your OH will be the same. I think it's hard for the men folk as it's not actually happening to them until the baby is here IYKWIM.

I was supposed to be booked into a separate breastfeeding workshop at the same time as my antenatal classes were booked, but the pleb at the hospital didn't do it. So I had a lovely lady come out to give me a one-to-one class, which was useful. I didn't realise how small bub's tummy is when they are first born. At the end of the session I felt a lot more confident at breastfeeding.

Lablover - I am sure they will cover it if there is a week on feeding :)

Digital - yeah smaller cup size but i think it kind of works that the cup sizes for bigger back sizes are bigger? If that makes any sense. So must just not have gone up much cup size but have back size...great so have just got fatter lol.
