And I'm riiiiiiiiight near the bottom lol... ho hum.. it'll come round way too fast! esp as it will be dragged out early one way or another we are looking at maybe last week in September.. but not the 29th as that is DS1's b'day.. and he said he isn't sharing!
Lirin.. you'll need to take a urine sample to the mw and be prepared to be asked for another to send off for infection check.. totally routine.. make sure you take some blood they'll want that.. and do bp.. other than that you just need to take yourself. I didn't see the doc at all.. I rang and spoke to receptionist who gave me the number for MW so I rang and they sent out a booking appointment.. 12 week scan arranged while I was there.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Congrats PC he is sooo cute! Well worth the wait, I bet
Was a bit wrong-footed, and forgot to ask if the breathlessness and light head I keep getting are normal. I know the light head is- I've extremely low blood pressure so used to dealing with it.
Ahh, sorry to hear you haven't had a good first impression with doc. They can be hit and miss. I had already tested and got a negative at home but was still convinced I was pregnant, so went along to doc and said I hadn't tested at all. So she tested for me. Odd, someone confirming what I already knew out loud :rotfl:
Yes the breathlessness is normal hun, as is the light head. In fact you may find yourself dizzy at points. You probably have low blood pressure like I do. Make sure you always get up slowly. I had a couple of almost passing out spells - one at my 20 week scan - which was where I came over very nauseous, bright flashes in my eyes, ears went funny and found it hard to breathe. Just sat down for a while with a drink and was OK after a bit. I also got quite breathless at first. It will get better don't worry, just your body adjusting to the extra blood etc its producing, and your lungs and heart working harder.
Hope your next appointment is better.iceicebaby wrote: »
She was concerned as I also have very swollen feet, and if it wasnt for the fact my urine sample was OK she woul have sent me into the hospital.:)
I've had swollen feet for the last week or so. Gutted as I never cross my legs deliberately to avoid it. They are pretty swollen this morning. Got MW coming out today - hopefully - so may she has some ideas. Hopefully everything else will be normal like yours.0 -
Morning ladies, CONGRATS PC !!!!!!!
Just had a peice of banana cake, didnt really want it but someone from the office had baked it , so I ate it anyways , now I feel a bit sick.... Took the dog a massive walk last night so Im a bit achey today but FIL is taking mutley tonight so I can crack on with some cleaning.
*Ante-natal classes Question *. I start these next week and my letter is very brief , gives me the times and location , then scribbled on the bottom is- Please bring a pillow and some water. I am assuming its just a bed type pillow you take? Also what are we supposed to wear , I'l be going straight from work so I cant really wear yoga bottoms to work ? Or will most people be in ordinary clothesThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Thanks Pigpen and digitalphase- very useful info.
My BP's always been borderline very low- very used to grabbing something (or someone) for a second while my head clears. Started thinking something wasn't right when I spent 25 mins on the floor after a bath, but first test had come out negative... Wasn't until a couple of days later my husband asked me to do a couple more!
He's banned me from the bath now, and is being really over-protective- wouldn't let me help take the cat converter out of the car, and shouted at me for lifting a sack of dog food! Problem is, barring constant indigestion and looking longingly at places to sleep- against the wall, someone's shoulder, the floor- I feel absolutely fine, so remembering I'm actually pregnant is hard!
Again, many thanks for all the info on here- certainly allaying a few queries I have!
Nursing bras- I'm a 30GG prior to pregnancy, and a size 8, I'll probably end up wearing a parachute to cover them as they grow! Debenhams do good bras, I've also looked at Bravissimmo, which are a bit pricier (though I always look at their website and head straight to Ebay to buy.)
Freecycle's been great- had 20-30 tops and 8 pairs of trousers given to me by a lady who wanted rid of them.
PC- Aris is an unusual name, what are the origins?
Can I be added to the list now? Feel left out!0 -
OMG Im 2nd after the boldies!!!!! Fingers crossed she arrives soon as im feeling like a beached whale!:rotfl:
Any hints/tips to get this one to arrive earlier than my last two would be appreciated!
Took RTL, pineapple, spicy curry and DTD and nothing worked  Both 2 weeks late, maybe if i do nothing this time she'll arrive early:j
Although i could just eat a curry tonight:beer:0 -
I thought that I would pop in to say hi. I was 7 weeks on wednesday there with my 2nd. I seem to be really bloated and ordinary clothes are becoming uncomfortable - not sure what I will do when I return back to work in 2 weeks time as not advised them and do not want to start to wear maternity stuff just yet. It was certainly later with DD when I started to wear maternity stuff. Glad that I can relax at home this week and next week whilst off work - getting work done about the house this week.
I am due to see my widwife to register next friday and believe that my due date is 23rd November.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46

Well done, he is gorgeous :j:j:jPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
congrats to all new mummies and good luck to all boldies...
welcome Lynn and Lirin (we've reached december bubs :j) hope your time with us is fun and safe. (Let me know Lynn if you want to be on list too)
I'm waiting on a 20 week scan myself and for JCR's team colours due today I think - I'll edit the list when news comes in.
Nothing much happening for me otherwise - I've started a geeky spreadsheet for bump measurement and weight so that I can see myself grow - hoping to get OH to take bump progress piccies too.
Hope all are well xxteam yellow
