they not only stop you weeing yourself post pg, but also stop you farting in embarassing situations. Alas, my muscles are not yet fully recovered

Hi grateful - regarding induction, midwife said they will start me off & hubby has to leave as men don't stay on the ward, is that right? if not i am going to put my foot down and insist he stays as he is starting to worry about not being there now poor thing.

My1stbaby that sounds like a load of crap, my hubby was there with me the whole time (and I was in for a week being induced), he was only chucked out at 9pm when obviously it was getting too late for him to stay. Obviously some hospitals are different.....maybe I'm just lucky!

Well I was induced in the delivery suite and he stayed. Are they going with pessaries first? And is that what you had, Teenie?

I only had the drip.

No news from me, I have an appointment with the consultant on Friday (6 days before D Day), not really sure what to expect, I last saw them in the first tri as I have mild asthma, they said that they wouldn't need to see me again for my asthma as its well under control so not really sure what I'm going for.

Does anyone know what SFF means? Its in relation to my measurements, I've found that SFD is 'small for dates' but SFF is beyond me.

LOL grateful my induction included 5 lots if gel, 1 pessary, 1 sweep and eventually the threat of a CS, they did put a canula in for the drip but luckily I didn't need it! Each time I was given the gel or pessary it was in the ward, the only time I went to the delivery suite was when one of the consultants tried to see if my waters could be broken and then obviously to deliver bubs when I was in full labour.

Congratulations Dusty - that's great news that little Joseph James is here. Looking forward to reading your birth story - hope it wasn't too traumatic.

GFH - I can't believe you and PC are still here!!!!!!! Obv an EDD of 24/03/11 is jinxed lol. Sending you both loads of labour vibes.

I'm still looking for the lead to connect my camera to the laptop so I can post a photo of my DD. I'm currently sat here pumping as Esme and i are having some probs with BF'ing At her 5 day check she had lost way too much of her birth weight as mummy isn't good enough with the milk . So we're pumping breast milk and formula feeding until her weight improves and then we can work on the BF'ing again.

I hope everyone and bumps are well. It is totally worth it! I love my little baby so much and wouldn't change her for the world :happyhear

So glad I am not the only one madnessandmayhem, feel like I am going mad with it some days. And you’re completely right there’s no comfortable position to help ease it. I too could really do with my husband here all the time to rub it!
