gratefulforhelp wrote: »Wonder if I should pack my hospital bag??
Nah. Just keep a list in your handbag and then when you're at the hospital give it to your OH and say "Could you pick a couple of things up when you pop back home?"
Owee owee owee. I was decorating the nursery yesterday and my hips and back are killing me. Kept waking up in night because if it. Couldn't face 9+ hours in work at my desk today so working from home and sitting on gym ball instead of chair. Husband says he should've had me hip scored before marrying me0 -
You don't think he might come back with DDs knickers and the dog's bedding?!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

How long are they giving you Grateful, to go past your due date I mean?"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0

Thanks, nic.
Well, teenie, its like this...I hadn't twigged that I had a consultant appointment on last Thurs, who gives someone an appointment on their due date?? So I was delinquent and missed it.
So...its a question of when they catch up with me!! I will ring an grovel apologetically in a minute, but its a 40 mile round trip, £7 diesel and £2 parking, just to listen to the guy pontificate. I would rather just see what my m/w says, its a waste giving me consultant care anyway, I don't need it and someone else could be using it.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

I'm sure there are still loads more to pack but at least it's a start LOL!! I have PJ's and light dressing gown, slipper socks, old nightie for labour, maternity pads, breast pads, lasinoh (very important!!), nursing bras and a nappy, vest, sleepsuit, hat and mitts for bubs for after the birth ..... erm and I think that's itI will have to wait until nearer the time to pack stuff like toiletries etc.
