I would be tempted to point out that you are not just the pregnancy at 9am or whatever, but a person with views about what happens to your body;)

g4h get bouncing!! it would be very very brave to let DH get the bag/bits. even with DS i had a 'spares' bag ready so if i had to stay in hosp he could bring that in as i didn't trust him not to get knickers 3 sizes too small or 18-24m baby grows. must remember to finish packing them really.

I was hoping it may tempt fate. Hope we are not hexed, princess!

Waterbaby, thats a lovely birth story. You have helped to explain why my back was so sore and stiff after my labour too.

Waterbaby lovely story - can't believe you had the traffic jam just at that time, but you made it... and without DH coming down with the weird bug thankfully as that would have made things so much harder. I would like to use the birth pool like you, but given that it will be late July it will all come down to how busy it is I guess...

Got my free Nuby Breast Pump this morning.
Sadly its a manual one . Shame as i already have manual lol. Didnt think i would be lucky enough to get an electric one.
Hey ho tho its free.

3 more days of work. More nervous than anything about the amount of free time before she is born but at least i wont be as worn out lol

Alamaya I think I got mine too, there was a delivery card at home for me, means I will go pick it up one lunch time, happy to have won something if that's what it is!

Congratulations dusty, waterbaby and Sammygirl, and labour vibes to PC and GFH. It seems you've all been busy since I was last on:D

Nothing much going on here, I have my 20 week scan tomorrow and am starting to get nervous about it. Hopefully everything will be ok though. I've decided I need to get a move on with being organised as I've only bought some cot bedding so far. It feels like got I've got ages so I've been really laid back but the scan has made me realise I'm halfway through this pregnancy already:eek: I much preferred the laid back denial phase though:rotfl:

Claire - just put Nuby UK into facebook and all will become clear lol.
My postie threw mine over the fence so part of me glad it was manual lol otherwise i would have millions of pieces of an electric one lol

AFM proper annoyed put some flea treatment on ebay and had bids of £12 to find it pulled today as your not allowed to sell vet flea treatment what!.
So now im stuck with something i cant use and cant even make my money back

Sounds like you are getting pessaries the night before did MW tell you your cervix wasn't very favourable?

I think that's what they are going to do, but they did say they check me over first see what's best - i've had no BH, twinges or plug either.
Had a good couple of hours sleep after the sweep earlier feel much better now, it was a bit of a shock to the system, can't beat a good old school midwife who gets stuck in 'shudder', small hands but she was a tough cookie!

I have one lovely swolen ankle again, can't work out why it always seems to be one, not two! On the plus side no more Mondays to work this year yay!
