    Hi all,

    I've done it!

Just got home this pm with Amy Victoria, born on Tuesday at 7.55am in the pool. She weighs 8lb 10, and is all snuggly in her pink fleecy babygrow.

So I managed to avoid the induction :jthe placenta was quite worn out though they said. I was 8cm when I arrived, and she was born an hour later, the second stage was only about 3 or 4 pushes long.

I will post my birth story asap. Got to change a nappy now!

    Hurrah, congratulations!:j:j:j:j

yay congratulations! What a lovely name :D

Right I have a dull ache in my left hand side between my, ahem, lady bits and leg. Further inspection there is nothing there, so it feels like a pulled muscle or something. I've had it for a few weeks now, but it got worse today. ANy ideas?

Haha Digital , I think 1-2 cm either way is normal! Me and my sister were big babies so don't think boys are necessarily bigger hehe.

Congratulations Waterbaby! Glad you didn't have to have the induction, sounds like you did brilliant.

Congrats water baby - lovely name and sounds like thankfully it all went fairly smoothly but let us know when you have time to post the birth story!

My1stbaby sorry to hear things didn't go as planned and good luck for Monday.

SDH that's a good deal - wow, £0.50p! I got a Baby Bjorn carrier for £15.80 on ebay, considering they're £55ish new I was quite pleased.

Gratefulforhelp hope the twinges pass hun x

Vroombroom - maybe a pulled ligament or just the joints loosening as all of them seem to be for us... in the last couple of days my right hand knee has been sore and it's annoying as I end up putting more weight on left leg to compensate.

Hmm... Could just be the ligaments stretching, but also could be mild SPD. What are you doing when it starts hurting? Or does it hurt all the time?

LOL Sparkle, I should imagine GFH wants the twinges to progress as she is a bold lady now ;)

always been bold, me;) you're right, but thanks sparkle. Not convinced m/w will need to do her sweep or even visit tomorrow afternoon, but have been convinced something will happen all week.

eta think that back pains are getting a bit more organised now...you never know. If I disappear, I may have just disappeared, ok, and not necessarily be in labour. x

DP, its when I walk or turn over in bed. I've had fit for about two weeks but today its got really bad. It feels like a bruise when I walk, but when I poke (!) the area, it doesnt hurt.
The SPD was affecting my right hand side but has eased off of late x
