Just back from midwife. Everything looking good. Measuring at 36 cm so bang on for what I should be. She is booking me into birthing centre. If I go into labour in next 6 days then would have to go to hospital but after Wed can go to birthing centre (in hospital).0

OMG does that mean I'm going to have a big baby as I was measuring at 35.5cm yesterday at just over 34 weeks  She said it was all good... Maybe boy's are a bit bigger though?
I tried using the crutches but couldn't really figure it out. Will need OH's help or I'll fall flat on my face.
All stiff now I've had a shower, and feel sick after my milkshake. Blergh. OH texted me to ask what we're having for dinner :rotfl: Can't say I'm really concerned  Oh, better go and dry my hair now or I'll get frozen in this chair.
ETA: Just seen on a website FD can be within 2cm so I don't need to freak out yet hehe0 -
Hi all,
I've done it!
Just got home this pm with Amy Victoria, born on Tuesday at 7.55am in the pool. She weighs 8lb 10, and is all snuggly in her pink fleecy babygrow.
So I managed to avoid the induction :jthe placenta was quite worn out though they said. I was 8cm when I arrived, and she was born an hour later, the second stage was only about 3 or 4 pushes long.
I will post my birth story asap. Got to change a nappy now!0 -
Wouldn't get excited about m/w measuring you with their ikea tape measure, someone, (lilac pixie?) pointed out that it would be as accurate measuring you with a carrot!!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
