So my run of energy and determination has come to an end. Had a really sore throat and dodgy guts last night, got no sleep, so I am spending the day on the sofa. Feel a bit bad as I'm the only senior cover at work today, but tomorrow is a big meeting and if I don't rest today I won't make it in for sure.

Oh and little one, as much as I love you, when mummy is ill on the toilet, that is not a good time to start practicing your footballer kicks _pale_

    Good Morning Ladies,

Just popping on to see if there have been any more births? I see not!

Strong labour vibes to GFH, PC and My1stBaby. Hope something happens soon. My EDD was yesterday, and I seriously can't imagine still being pregnant so I hope you get your mummy cuddles soon.

Esme and I are well - she's swaddled up sleeping next to Daddy at the moment, so I'm going to go for a quick shower before she wants feeding again. We are BF'ing - it's hard but we're persevering. Hopefully we'll get to that easier stage that everyone keeps telling us about soon :) We have our Day 5 appt with the Midwife today to have her weighed and the heel test done - so hopefully she will be ok.

I know i need to post a pic - it is on my list of things to do lol.

I hope you are all well. I do miss this thread - but I am happy to have my baby girl here x

Strong labour vibes as appropriate :D

Don't worry about changing your decision nic, you have to do what is right for you and your family.

I have a nazi midwife nagging me as I won't go to the birth centre to have mine, I want to be in the hospital.

        Morning bumpies

Hope you get that early induction Digi, even a week early would save you being in pain any longer.

I'm 35 weeks today. I had thd mw coming around this afternoon to talk about a home birth. But I'm going to cancel her. After 2 days of thinking and talking with my OH, I've decided not to have a hb.
The closer it gets the more fears I got.
I also had an issue that I need childcare, so my mum is coming to stay the week before my DD then my inlaws are staying from 1 day after my DD for the long weekend. I was getting stressed about giving birth with them in the house. At least now I have a plan and can head off to hospital.
There's a few other reasons too. I feel a bit of a wimp changing my mind after being really up for it :o

Hope everyone has a good day. Labour vibes to GFH and PC and all the other boldies.

        Thanks hun x

Don't feel bad in the slightest about changing your mind over a home birth. It must be difficult to arrange when you already have kids, as well. TBH the idea scares me quite a lot. At least in hospital things are 'on hand' if needed.

It's odd how different areas do things differently. I have to wait until I am 38 weeks to even see the consultant. So if I did get an induction it would probs be at 39 weeks. Better than nothing. How early did they say they could induce you, hun?
I'd rather be induced AT 38 weeks tbh, but I suppose its all to do with how 'favourable' your cervix is or something.
I am with you on the pain. Woke up this morning stiff as a wooden door, and took ages to get my legs moving. I've also got sciatica down my left bum cheek. Bubs must be lying on the nerve. Oh joy.

Maybe if I go to my physio again, she may be able to refer me sooner. After 37 weeks bubs is full term, so surely it would be OK to induce after that, and save mummy from a few more weeks of pain :( I won't get a May baby then though :o

LABOUR VIBES TO PC AND GFH :) Any sign of things happening?
