  • No, it's a dull period pain type ache. I have had some braxton hicks earlier today, but I've been getting them for weeks. This is just there, not coming and going like braxtons do. It could be pain from my pelvis as I cleaned the bathroom earlier, and the minute I do anything I seem to suffer. BUT I've not had this type of pain before from SPD. I might go and have a lay down and see if it passes. Baby is kicking away so I'm not concerned about him x

Hope you feel better after a lie down x
  • Hiya Ladies and Bumps

Just thought I would pop on to let you know that Timothy and I are doing well...he's up to 7lb 8oz having gone down to 6lb 15oz so I am a happy bunny. We seem to be settling and he like to play with his food (ie he suckles the nipple then has a nibble before deciding to latch lol) breastfeeding is grand and I advise anyone who is going to try it to stick at it but don't get discouraged either if you do have to give a bottle in the first couple of weeks......I have been using my moo breastfeeding pillow which hubby got me when I was PG and I think it is a godsend but have also used an ordinary pillow when feeding upstairs and moo was downstairs.

Congrats tot he new mummies btw......Sammy and Jojo well done :)

Came on just at the talk of the fruit pastilles and surprise surprise there is Apricot right in the middle of discussing food :P

Hugs to everyone...I miss this wee thread but really do have my hands full atm so I will keep popping in on occasion just to check how everyone is

Sending labour vibes to those who want them and sticky vibes to those who want to keep their bubs for just a little while longer

Unless you have a very small baby (like less than 4lb) it'll be fine.

After 13+ years of breastfeeding my nips are possibly about the size of fruit pastilles.. no I am absolutey not joking.. have a pic somewhere of a fruit pastille on my boob.. and I have never had issues other than with 3lb 10 DS3... even the 4lbers were fine.

    Woah mega nips!:p

Belly buttons - mine has just shallowed a bit.

Well Coops should have had her section yesterday and waterbaby is 14 days over, did she say when her induction was booked for?

39+6 and still not a twinge in fact not even had a single BH never had any with DD either think I'll be here till the bitter end :(

    Afternoon ladies,

Grateful, how are you feeling now?

My period-like pains developed to proper pains last night, I was in bed, just drifting off, when I felt 3 'developing' pains, 10mins apart, I was just about to start timing them when they stopped :( Did mean that I only got a few hours sleep last night as I was waiting for the next one!

Today is the first day in mat leave where I have actually relaxed and not tried to do a great deal (apart from sunbathing in the garden :j) Been running round like a headless chicken for the last week or so, finishing nursery, packing bag, sorting out all clothes etc, just house jobs I want to do now, but they can be done whenever :)

No fair, I want mullerice now!!

Labour vibes to those in need xx

Afternoon all - Im sat in work sweating like a pig - feeling very attractive but the air conditioning is broken & my window keeps blowing shut!

Can't remember who said it but Orange juice and lemonade is my thing at the moment too - actually seeing as it's such a nice day might see if I can persuade OH that we should pop to Harvester for tea and sit in the beer garden!
