Twinkle, I'm currently doing Parentcraft classes (4 in total) and think they're great, esp as we're first time parents. We've covered labour and breastfeeding so far.
I looked at the PCT ones and they wouldn't tell me what was covered until we paid up, so I never bothered.

Give them a try x they give out leaflets and stuff and you'll meet other first time mums. There are 2 other girls in my class and we are going to a breastfeeding group next Tuesday :cool:

Morning everyone.

Can someone tell me please what we can take for sore throats? Mine is so very sore today. Sore on one side then feels like something is stuck on the other side that I cant budge but the soreness is working its way around.

Morning ladies! Labour vibes to those who need it!

I always think I should post on here more but when I have nothing exciting to say I'm worried i'll bore you all!

Started maternity leave last Friday and I'm in total nesting mode. I can't stop cleaning and it's doing my head in! Was up at half 7 this morning cleaning the oven, so far I've scrubbed the bathroom and cleaned and hoovered the kitchen, front room and bedrooms for about the 20th time this week. Now I'm eyeing up the windows thinking they could do with yet another wash...

Whoa 12th on the list! When did that happen?! I know I only have 13 days till my due date but it still doesn't feel real. Baby's room is all done, clothes etc washed and ironed and hospital bag sorted. Only thing that needs to happen now is for him or her to grace us with their presence! I'm fed up now of being pregnant and even though everyone keeps telling me my bump is really neat and small I feel so bloated and unattractive. I want to meet my baby now and get on with being a mammy!xr

thanks grateful - i stalk a lot lol :rotfl:
don't post much what with work and generally been knackered all the time! but looks like the high bp might mean i have to finish work earlier, midwife sent me home this morning and have to go back monday see if it's gone down any - no protein though so that's a good sign!
