Tortelloni sounds lovely grateful, although I did have it for lunch :D. OH just asked me what I wanted for tea. I didn't know, but i think I will ask for mushroom omelette.

I just went for a sweep at term + 5. I thought there would be some change as I've been having period pains on and off for about three weeks. but no joy she could only just reach cervix with her fingertip and it was firm and closed

I was gutted, I came home and just cried.

I hate the thought of being induced, for its own sake but also because then I'm off to the big regional hospital and not the midwife led birth centre like I really want. But even if I refuse induction, the birth centre won't take me at 'post-mature' anyway.

I just cling to the fact that DS was 10 days over. Hopefully it's just that I cook my babies nicely. That can't be a bad thing can it really. But it HAS to be out by next Monday. That will be the induction day apparently. And as much as I don't want it, I can't really see a sensible reason to refuse it.

Well there's seven days for baby to get a move on anyway, the chance of movement before then must be pretty high?

waterbaby get OH to make you a vindaloo for tea! Start eviction proceedings on that little one!

In all seriousness you still have seven days before being induced and things change so quickly I wouldn't get stressed about it!

that is your sensible reason... some people naturally have 44 week gestations.. if you don't want induction say no.. when they start harping on about placenta degrading insist on a scan to check that and blood supply to the baby if that is ok refuse.. it is your body not their piece of meat.

my brother was 3 weeks over 9lb 3 and perfectly cooked.

Its not amazing, its MrS basics tortelloni tarted up and takes about 5 min, except roasting the veg.

I tried Madras last night as an eviction strategy, thought it was working for a while, too, but then DH was ill all night, so that backfired (literally!!)

Im in Cardiff (and Im starving so the sooner the better really :D)

:rotfl: at madras backfiring! Im wondering how hot I will have to go if I need eviction - I normally eat madras and sometimes vindaloo so they're not going to work for me!
