DueMarch, how did the sweep go? Was it yesterday?
Mine is tomorrow.
Term+8 now. The policy here is to allow us to go to term plus 12 then inducing. I've been telling myself that by saturday i'll be in labour and be holding bubs, now thats only 4 days away, so i feel a little more positive. But i'd still like to go naturally and always start to feel down again by midday, just wishing that every twinge i feel is the start of something. I've tried everything to encourage him out, walking, pineapple, curries, clary sage oil and even s e x. At least if he hangs in til i get induced then its easier to sort childcare for my other children.
Anyway fingers crossed things get moving for DM and waterbaby.
What happened to the birth announcement thats supposed to have happened?:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

Hiya
No its this afternoon, sweep number 2 and to be honest Im not holding out a great deal of hope, Im all set for induction on Thurs. Its T+12 here too.
I know what you main about all the little twinges, theyre nothing but a PITA now. We DTD the other day too, clearly it done nothing, Im not bothering with anything else now as I just cant be bothered!
Feeling guilty lately as last couple days DD has really been getting on my nerves and my tolerance levels are at an all time low, Im hoping its just because of all thats going (or not) on at the moment and that normal service will be resumed at some point.
Not sure about the birth announcement, thought it would have been done by now, its been done on the dark side, she is def home?Sealed Pot Challenge Member 151

Im in Cardiff (and Im starving so the sooner the better really
)
:rotfl: at madras backfiring! Im wondering how hot I will have to go if I need eviction - I normally eat madras and sometimes vindaloo so they're not going to work for me!
Cardiff not so far then...might still be hot.
Madras is one up from what I can normally manage.
duemarch being less tolerant is an encouraging sign. I nearly crashed into a car the day before my last delivery, on purpose, and I wasn't in a car myself:eek:
I have gained 14 pounds so far, and I am scared to eat anything since everything gives me indigestion.
Midwife tried to visit on spec yesterday, and I said no...how hard can it be to make an appointment, we have to.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Hope everyone has had a good day today and that those that need them get the sadistic labour vibes im sending out

Well good luck for this afternoon, otherwise its only 2 more days. I'm not trying anything else either, i've given up. He'll come when he's ready. My eldest daughter is willing him out as soon as possible though as its none uniform day on friday and i think she's guessed i've bought her some Jack Wills clothes as a present for when the baby comes and she wants to wear them (she's always going on about jack wills....i'd never heard of them-probably because its all so overpriced)
My tolerance levels are lower and my 3 yo winds me up something chronic, But i give her lots of cuddles when we are alone in the mornings before nursery, and she loves to talk and sing to the baby, aolthough insists on lifting my top up so she's speaking to a bare belly.
xx
Oh and on weight gain...i've gained 2 stones. It needs to stop now:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

Morning ladies
Am still have major issues with work clothing.... I feel like a great big fat bloater - today I can't do my trousers up so have a tight vest pulled over them to keep them up.
Puzzled - I'm not actually going to the loo anymore than usual yet - didn't in the first trimester either. Having said that, I am up at 5:30am every morning to walk the dog and I am busting for a wee then. I think you should empty your bladder when needed though. Just if only to make extra space for food!!
I know it's well too early (13+3) but last night I felt like a throbbing sort of thing low down in my abdomen. I know what bowel movements feel like and it definitely wasn't that. I got kinda excited anyway.
Apricot - good luck today - hope bubba co-operates and gives you a flash!!
DM11 & JoJo - hope something gets moving for you soon. When you're given a due date you focus on that, I can't imagine the frustration of going over - I'm terribly impatient and can't stand people who are late - won't be a good start for bubba!!
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -
