Term+8 now. The policy here is to allow us to go to term plus 12 then inducing. I've been telling myself that by saturday i'll be in labour and be holding bubs, now thats only 4 days away, so i feel a little more positive. But i'd still like to go naturally and always start to feel down again by midday, just wishing that every twinge i feel is the start of something. I've tried everything to encourage him out, walking, pineapple, curries, clary sage oil and even s e x. What happened to the birth announcement thats supposed to have happened?

Term + 10 here used to be +15:eek: which is when I was induced the first time, if sweeps and stretches don't work this time I'm pushing for +5 with a small baby and the last placenta in a bad state after my 1st birth I couldn't stand the stress of going too far over.
Fingers crossed for DM and Waterbaby I know just what it's like, really gets you down and irritable being overdue.
There was an announcement and pic on facebook 2/3 days ago and she confirmed she was home, but I don't think she has posted there since so might be very baby busy.

I am now 24+2 so have reached viability :j
Think we may have an offer on one of our properties so that should be good if it comes off - fingers crossed but not holding breath

I managed to catch OBEM last night - had my usual cry
I thought the larger lady was lovely and was so pleased she managed to give birth naturally although it was only her OH that seemed worried - frankly thought he was a bit wet - we all have concerns but the way he was voicing his beforehand was a bit much I thought.

As for the other couple with the little mummy carrying the big girl - felt a bit sad - hope things turn out ok - ex 33 year old heroin addict with an 18 year old - not a great start.
I hope Oakley does manage to further her education as she plans but doesn't look as though it's going to be easy.

I was very disappointed that he chose not to go into the room with his wife to see the birth of his child. I feel like he'll regret that decision for ever. It made me sad that he missed it.

Back from the scan & pleased to announce we are:
Team Pink!!

Managed to get there 20 mins early and luckily they just took us straight in! I currently have dresses on the brain - somebody stop me before my baby looks like one of the ones from My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding!:D

Hiya Ladies and bumps//

Sorry I have been MIA but I was couped up in hospital for a few days before and after the birth of Timothy James who appeared on 10th March at 6.57pm. He weighed in 7lbs 4oz and is soooooo gorgeous (although I am a bit biased lol)
