Went home at lunch to check on my wounded dog and let her out for a pee....... forgot to take my keys out with me , so left my handbag and house keys up in the flat ,flat door wide open but the main door was locked. So was stuck outside with my grumpy dog and my mobile phone. Que massive sob attack , had mascarra all down my face, phoned everyone in my phone book no-one was answering. Then got through to my OH and managed through the sobs to tell him what happened and could he get his dad ( lives just up the street ) to pop down with spare key. OH goes all sheepish and admits FIL doesnt have spare key anymore , OH lost his keys on a lads night out and has been using his dads ever since. So que more tears and the dog joining in aswell for good effect. OH phones my dad , who was going to drive home from work (30 miles away) pick up his spare key then drive to my house ( 10 miles away ):eek: Then OH had a brain wave, he remembered seein the postman leave keys in a gas meter but couldnt remember which one. So I had to walk round perimeter of block of flats opening all the gas boxes , eventually found bag of keys in box number 20 and then had to try all the different keys in the lock , would be the last key wouldnt it. So managed to get dog in and grab a roll.Back at work now with make-up like KISS and feeling sorry for myself
WOW, that sounds eventful, im sure you dont look like Kiss and am sure that in a few days you will laugh about this0 -

Puzzled I feel more embarrased about it than anything. I was already having a hormone induced day , and that was just the tip of the ice berg. Had a few texts now from all the people I was phoning in blind panic
Had everyone worried I was in early labour...woops
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Lablover I think I would be the same, the smallest things send me into a blind panic at the moment! Im sure everyone understands though - hormones eh? Who'd have them!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
I feel so sorry for my OH , I started crying yesterday because he spilled some tea on the rug ....:o Wow , dont know if I could ever handle being pregnant again. OBEM tonight , it says on my sky planner synopsis (sp) thing that they are focusing on a very petite girl and will she be able to deliver big baby naturally and they are focusing on a larger lady who I think is having a c-section.Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

tis true. You also switch on your spidey sense as soon as you hear a child crying in a crowd and can tell straight away if its yours. I used to think all babies sounded the same, but not now.
That I can do.. and I recognise their voices.. I also knew DGS out of the mlitude at the nursery at the back of mine..as did DS1 and promptly started crying as he was shouting daddy.. it was a couple of days after he moved back home and he'd not seen him in a couple of days. I can also pick their clothes out of lost property by the smell of themI've always been a heavy sleeper and was hoping to stay that way - I told OH crib will have to go on his side of the bed as he will wake up before me :rotfl:
That is what we did too.Puzzledbubbles wrote: »Pigpen, does your OH know yet?

afternoon ladies. I feel positively glorious today (albeit with bags under my eyes and my right club foot:eek:). The sun is shining, my house is tidy, I have had a lovely walk down by the sea with the dogs and I treated myself to getting my hair done with highlights and lowlights (not very MSE but we all deserve a treat now and then!)
